Maison Martin Margiela’s staple Replica sneaker receives another interesting makeover as seen here with this “Pixelated” version of the shoe. We’re enjoying what’s going on here with the combination of white canvas at from the heel on up to where the contrasting dark canvas begins to take over. These shoes definitely have it going on. In case you are not ready and set yet for New Year’s Eve, you have nothing to worry about, as Martin Margiela has got you covered. The label presents their champagne bucket, made of stainless steel and styled after a paint pail. It can house up to 7 liters of champagne, which should suffice for most of you. The champagne bucket is now available from Aloha Rag.

Maison Martin Margiela has released a first series of sneakers from its Spring/Summer 2012 Pre-Collection. Included in the release are a low top and a high top sneaker. Compared to previous offerings, the brand works with less tonal design, adding little color accents and material accents here and there. We still prefer the tonal versions, such as the black suede/leather low top, seen here above.

The entire range of new sneakers is now available from Oki-Ni.

Beijing scored a great new addition to the retail landscape out in China when Maison Martin Margiela opened up its largest retail location to date. Some nice design details are seen here with the application and usage of tile, wood and concrete, oh, and there’s a giant slide in the front window. Whether you can afford the gear or not, it still looks like a great place to check out.

The charity AIDS T-Shirt has been present in all Maison Martin Margiela collections since Fall/Winter 1994. Traditionally the shirt bears the text “THERE IS MORE ACTION TO BE DONE TO FIGHT AIDS THAN TO WEAR THIS T-SHIRT BUT IT’S A GOOD START.”

However, the Maison has decided to create a yearly World AIDS Day edition in a different language. Following Japanese for the 1st edition, the 2nd edition will be in French, bearing the phrase “IL Y A PLUS A FAIRE POUR COMBATTRE LE SIDA QUE DE PORTER CE T-SHIRT MAIS C’EST UN BON DEBUT.”

A percentage of the sales of this shirt are donated to ‘AIDES’, a French non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting HIV and Hepatitis and taking care of patients living with HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. Available in all Maison Martin Margiela stores and in the Margiela e-boutique on December 1, 2011.

The always innovative Maison Martin Margiela attempts to reinvent the t-shirt this summer with the “Slit Neck” tee. “The neck opening features a boat shaped slit created by an unusual yoke that runs all the way to the sleeves, upper chest and back, with no shoulder seams. From Margiela’s Spring/Summer ’11 collection comes the ‘Hi Frequency’ shoulder bag. The leather bag features two padded pouches for laptops and electronic equipment, two exterior pockets with silver zip fastening, grey mock zip detail pockets and a branded zipped pocket in the interior. The always different Maison Martin Margiela present a pair of grey leather high top sneakers from their Spring/Summer 2011 pre-collection. Outfitted with special seams and flaps that hide the laces and a Velcro fastened ankle strap, the sneakers take on a streamlined, futuristic look. Now in store at LN-CC.
