manik s.king skate decks - highsnobiety
Manik is a skateboard brand delivered by the guys behind the Goods store straight out of Seattle. The brand keeps a stylish and clean profile and is sold only through selected shops – Cali Skat Dep. is one of those stores. This is the S.King line with hand sketched boards that feature some segments seen in the Chinatown districts of Seattle. This is a series of five, and if you lay them next to each other you’ll see the full graphic/neighborhood.
Once again a strong art deck series by one of the most premium skate brands on the market.

The first drop of the Manik Spring 2008 collection has arrived at Goods. As usual the Seattle based skateboard brand presents a strong line-up of graphic t-shirts and skatedecks as well as some quality cut & sew.
We cannot repeat how Manik is different from most other skateboard brands out there. Their entire cut & sew is manufactured in Japan and therefore they can take on in terms of quality pretty much any other skate brand out there.
Check out the entire first drop after the jump.

Just when you think that the skateboard brands are sleeping a bit and not being enough innovative these days, a brand like Manik comes around the corner and surprises. The Seattle based skateboard brand impresses with great design and also quality. Their entire collection is made in Japan, so you can be sure that details and quality are as good as they could get.
Their Fall 2007 collection is getting into stores right now and you will for sure not be disappointed. They split the collection into two themes – the Animal Series and the Dia De Los Muertos Series. Find t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, beanies, caps and more in the collection. Also the collection is entirely cut & sew. These are the kind of standards we want to see more in this industry. Manik has a bit the feel of a more grown-up skateboard brand.
Accounts that will be carrying this collection include Goods, Huf, In4mation, Caliroots and others. Check out some stand-out pieces of the collection after the jump.
