We take an early look at two quilted high top sneakers from the Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. Sporting premium leather and suede on the upper, the sneakers were inspired by outdoor boots. The embroideries certainly give them a premium and high end appeal. They come in black and brown and will release later this year.

In his latest collaboration photographer The Cobra Snake gets together with fashion designer Marc Jacobs. They present the “Donuts” t-shirt. Inspired by graphic elements from The Simpsons and Sesame Street, the tee is now in stock at colette (storeguide).

UPDATE: Several comments suggest that this might not be an official collaboration between Marc Jacobs and The Cobra Snake.

UPDATE II: We have confirmed with Marc Jacobs now that this is indeed not an official collaboration t-shirt. Expect it to be removed from the colette online store any minute!

An interesting mash-up comes from the new Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. At first sight you see a rather classic leather lace-up shoe. Once you have a closer look you realize that the shoe comes without laces and has a neoprene socket. The shoes are now in stock in two colorways at LuisaViaRoma.

Starks for Jacobs by Marc Jacobs shoelaces are the latest product from the collaboration-based Jacobs by Marc Jacobs collection. Retailing for $4 USD a pair, the laces are made of 100% Polyester and come in white or black with contrast text that reads “Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs”. The laces also include a PVC aglet with Starks branding. Available exclusively at Marc by Marc Jacobs stores.

Marc Jacobs presents four new skate decks featuring photos by Juergen Teller. Taking images from the Marc Jacobs Advertisement archives we’re greeted with photos of Lisa Marie (Marc Jacobs Spring 2000), Kate Moss (Marc Jacobs Fall 2000), Stephanie Seymour (Marc Jacobs Fall 2001) and M.I.A. (Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2009). These will be available in New York at Bookmarc (400 Bleecker Street) and Marc by Marc Jacobs Men’s (298 W. 4th Street) stores now and in all Marc by Marc Jacobs stores nationwide on Friday. The 7-ply Canadian maple decks are limited to 100 of each.

Luxury footwear company Stubs & Wootten (who are working on a line of slippers with Kanye West) have teamed up with Jacobs by Marc Jacobs to create the new Stinky Rat Productions Slipper. The cotton woven canvas slipper has Marc Jacobs’ Stinky Rat logo embroidered at the toe, and comes in 6 color ways. The slippers are available exclusively at Marc Jacobs stores worldwide.

Marc Jacobs presents two super clean sneaker styles as part of his FW10 lineup. Offered in black or white, high or low, the sneakers eschew all frills – besides a some subtle embossing – for a smooth, streamlined look. Now available through Designers.

The girls at Highsnobette bring news of Marc Jacobs’ new Bookmarc store in NYC. “Marc Jacob’s Boomarc store located on Bleeker and West 11th Street in downtown Manhattan, opened on Saturday, according to Racked. The store sells books, as well as other items like notebooks and pencils, which has the same feel as the special items he sells in his boutique.”

The Suede Hudson from Marc Jacobs’ FW10 footwear collection is a low lace up ankle boot. Featured in sage green suede, the boot is fully sheepskin lined, detailed with d-ring eyelets and finished with a leather trimmed crepe sole. Oki-ni has stock.
