Margaret Howell has launched a new collaboration with Bolton-based footwear company Norman Walsh. Designed for the A/W 2009 MHL label by Margaret Howell, the trainer is based on the Walsh PB Elite X’treme fell running shoe. Using ultra light weight and fast drying water resistant material, the shoe combines technical functionality with Margaret Howell’s pared down simplicity of design. The sneakers are available in two colorways, with an MHL logo stitched onto the tongue. Available exclusively at Margaret Howell stores and online this September.

MHL By Margaret Howell presents a nice line-up of canvas sneakers as part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The UK brand offers the Canvas Low and the Canvas Mid in several colorways. The plimsole sneaker come with a black/gum sole, canvas upper and an overall very clean look. Nothing special but solid and perfect for every day use.

UK designer Margaret Howell is known for creating outstanding every day clothes with smart accents and details. Thus a collaboration with Japanese luggage company Porter just makes sense. The designer applied the same aesthetics to the bags, as she also does to her clothing. She kept it simple and mainly used nylon, while using leather accents to give the collection a more high end feel.
