Skateboarder and artist Mark Gonzales created a sculpture and painted some walls for the new Supreme London flagship store. In this Ari Marcopoulus directed video you get a behind the scenes look at his work at the store. Enjoy!

XLarge continues to come out with one collaboration after another, after already presenting quite a few for its 30th anniversary over the last months. In their latest project, they got together with skater and artist Mark Gonzales, who designed a series of t-shirts for the brand. Each tee comes in several colorways and a release is set for August 12th, 2011.

Japanese bag maker SÄG gets together with skater and artist Mark Gonzales on a messenger bag. The bag comes in black canvas with yellow and white graphic elements, matching the yellow lining. The bag comes with a small matching pouch, which also features graphics by the artist. The bag is now available from Stless.

Rad Collector pulls in news of a collaborative photo project between Ari Marcopoulos and Mark Gonzales at Franklin Parrasch Gallery.

The exhibition includes Marcopolous’s adventurous photographs of model Diana Dondoe and Mark Gonzales. Post-production Gonzales has drawn and etched upon the surfaces of these photographs. The twelfth issue of HoBO magazine will feature these collaborative photographs and an interview with Gonzales by Glenn O’Brien. The proceeds of works sold from this exhibition will be given to a cancer research foundation.

adidas Skateboarding pushes forth two clean new releases for March. The outstanding Busenitz comes in a dope navy suede, while the Skate gets a black and yellow Gonz make up. Drop by DQM, grab a pair (we recommend the Busenitz) and go skate. It’s nice out.

For Spring 2010 adidas Skateboarding got once again together with Mark Gonzales. They present two graphic t-shirts, one featuring the art by Mark Gonzales, the other one featuring a photo print. Both tees come in two colorways and should be available in stores soon.

Mark Gonzales revamps the throwback Nizza Hi, first introduced in the 70’s. The tough white canvas upper and embroidered tongue patch are detailed sparingly with The Gonz’ now iconic artwork. The three blue stripes offset an otherwise all-white sneaker. Vulcanized gum rubber outsole. Good for skating or just posting up.

The Mark Gonzales x adidas Nizza Hi is now available at select adidas retailers including Concepts 37 Brattle St. location.

Huf recruited five professional skateboard legends, who are also talented artists, to create a summer skateboard series. Lance Mountain, Nata Kaupas, Tommy Guerrero, Steve Olson and Mark Gonzales were each given carte blanche (the only parameters given were that the artwork be in black and white) to create their own Huf deck, right down to the shape. Decks were produced in limited runs of 100 to 150, with each board being hand-screened, laser numbered and laser signed. A matching t-shirt featuring all five signatures was also released. Available now in-store at Huf.

Filmer/photographer William Strobeck and professional skateboarder Mark Gonzales put together this new video for Coconut Records’ song Any Fun. The video stars actress Chloe Sevigny and features skater Alex Olsen amongst others. Enjoy!

Once again Mark Gonzales created a sneaker for adidas Skateboarding. This time the skater/artist worked on the adidas Campus. The sneaker features an interesting design on white leather upper and Mark’s characters also appear. These are now available at colette.
