New York girl’s brand Married To The MOB is back with their Holiday 2011 Lookbook. Once again the lovely sister of MOB’s founder and designer is modeling the collection, which seems to be sticking to what the brand knows best – bold slogan t-shirts. Aside from the t-shirts tey also present some great all-over print leggings and fleece pieces. The lookbook was produced “at the infamous Black Apartment, home of fabulous entrepreneur Cindy Gallop where Gucci chainsaws and YSL neons are real-life marvels and not just fantasy.”

The collection is now available from the MOB online store.

The Married to the MOB holiday lookbook has just dropped and it’s full of lots of great looks, including some new tees, some of which are sure to be classics, including “Good Girls Bend At The Knees, Bad Girls Bend At The Waist!” The tee on this page is my fave–love when this brand calls out its New York roots, plus the vee-neck is sexy. The girls from Highsnobette previewed yesterday the upcoming collaboration between Reebok and Married to the MOB on the new Freestyle “Dubble Bubble”.

“The shoe has a suede upper in cobalt blue, pig suede lining, plus a rose gold Married to the M.O.B. logo pin on the outside of each shoe. Inside the tongue reads “We stay laced since 1982.” On the design, this time around McSweeney says she wanted a more grown and lux shoe, “The last Reebok I designed with Colette was a little more playful and I wanted to do something a little more grown up this time.” The shoe launches November 1st and can be picked up for 100 beans at Karmaloop and Michael K on the East Coast and Undefeated and PickYourShoes on the West Coast.”

The girls over at Highsnobette got an early look at the upcoming collaboration between Vans and Married to the MOB. After Reebok and Nike, this marks the next collaboration between the New York brand and a sneaker brand. They worked on a high top sneaker, which comes with an embossed patent leather upper. The sneaker will drop in overall 3 colorways. Unfortunately MOB has come forward and clarified that these are neither in production, nor available for purchase and are remaining in the sample stage indefinitely.

In a market that is full of mens brands, Married to the MOB is the only one or at least one of the very few womens brands that seems to manage to sneak in on a regular basis to set a tone for the girls. Today we give you a first look at their upcoming collaboration with Burton for this coming Fall/Winter 2011 season.

After much anticipation and yesterday’s presentation of the new Married to the MOB Summer 2010 Collection featuring Faye Regan, the New York brand follows up with the full movie that they produced for Summer 2010, entitled “Runaway Faye”. We got MOB founder and head designer Leah McSweeney to say a couple of words about the project.

“The Teasers are just to get everyone’s mouths wet wanting more. Kind of like what Faye does. The final video is totally unexpected and the teasers do not give away what it is. It isn’t a behind the scenes of the shoot. It isn’t sexually explicit. Sorry if that’s a disappointment to some! I’m really proud of this. We have done video before but nothing quite like this. It is new untouched grounds for MOB and that is part of what I love about the entire project the most.”

MTTM reveals the second delivery in their Spring 2010 Collection. “For this season, we wanted to evoke visions of a confident woman maintaining a fine balance between a life that’s both scandalous and refined. The vibe was intended to be reminiscent of Grey Gardens, which was realized with the help of heavy red velvet curtains, rich colors in royal hues, and family love. As you can see, our usual poster girl Sweet 16 Sarah has been joined by the Head Bitch herself, Leah McSweeney for double the trouble.” Double the trouble is right. Wow. From the latest issue of Sneaker Freaker we get a preview of the upcoming collaboration between Married to the MOB and Lacoste. Inspired by lingerie, the high top Hironia sneaker comes with an interesting all-over design, mixed with premium leather details on the tongue, as well as waxed laces. Look out for a release later this year.

UPDATE: Leah states that the sneaker is an homage to Christian Louboutin.
