Beyond the approach and conception of its collections, the unique identity of Maison Martin Margiela is clearly recognizable in the spaces it occupies (stores, showrooms…). In the midst of the development of the architectural project, the Maison created a collection of White Objects (Line 13). This collection is part of the global project of interior design and architecture that the Maison is developing for the near future.

The first set of White Objects will be available in all Maison Martin Margiela stores from mid-October 2009.

This season’s release of the Margiela high top is a mid-calf paneled motorcycle boot with two adjustable Velcro straps on the outer side and a Velcro fastening front panel. The sole is the same as the classic Margiela army replica sneakers and is done in a vulcanized grey. Uppers come in black rubber, red leather and off-white leather, each with a creme lining. The Martin Margiela low top trainer comes as part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection in an all-over velvet version. Not only the sneaker upper, but also the mid-sole, outer sole and the laces are entirely covered in velvet, resulting in an overall very interesting look. The sneaker is now available at colette.

Some interesting new sneakers are once again coming from Martin Margiela. As part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the designer presents a motorcycle boot, at least that is where the inspiration seems to have come from. The high top sneaker comes in red and in grey. Furthermore he presents his low top trainer with a black pony hair upper and another red colorway of his standard high top.

Two fun new accessories are coming from the Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. We still appreciate the irony in some of the product of the designer. This season he presents the Discoball Wallet, which comes in black leather and features a mirror outer, inspired by the discoball. Furthermore Margiela also released a watch, actually it is only a case, without anything inside. The watch comes in silver and gold.

Both the Discoball Wallet and the Watch are now available from Oki-Ni.

This season, nonconformist Martin Margiela offers an outlandish take on a Ray-Ban Shooter style sunglass frame. All I can think of is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas meets welding mask. colette says it’s a piece “just like his creator; atypical, playful, unique!” If those words describe you, and you think you can pull this off, they’re now available in two colors at colette.

From the Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2009 Collection come these new airplane jewelry pieces. They made both a ring and a brooch. The ring comes in all white and the brooch comes in gold. Look out for a release in Margiela stores and retailers very soon. Via Milk.

Martin Margiela presents for Fall/Winter 2009 some new materials and colorways on his line-up of low top and high top sneakers. The high top sneaker comes in red and military green. It gets more interesting with the low top, which comes with a rubber effect upper and a distressed leather/canvas upper. All four new sneakers from the Martin Margiela Fall/Winter 2009 Collection are now available at Oki-Ni.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, Martin Margiela once again presents their popular high top sneaker. This season it comes in an all black colorway, with leather and nylon on the upper. The rubber sole is a nice contrast to the otherwise tonal sneaker. The sneaker is now available at Colette.
