The much anticipated mirror sneakers by Maison Martin Margiela have been released this week. His popular high top sneaker comes this season in metallic gold and metallic silver versions, with the reflective being all over the upper. Paired with a gum outer sole, these will for sure be among the most popular high tops in fashion this season. Barneys New York has them in stock now, priced at 680 USD.

Following a very successful first collaboration one year ago, Maison Martin Margiela and Cutler & Gross reveal and assert an attention to detail that is based on powerful inspirations. The four new themes are available in different designs which represent a unique vision both from an aesthetic and comfort point of view.

For the first time, Maison Martin Margiela has adapted its ‘Replica’ line to include sunglasses. These designs, whose origin is explained on the label, are as alluring and powerful as the original pieces but have been reinvented through the choice of materials used. Inspired by the past, the Maison applies its style to create new timeless designs. The themes of the new collection are ‘Replica France’, ‘Cable Temple’, ‘Rimless’ and ‘Replica Turkey’.

We continue our street style report from Paris Fashion Week, after having reported from Rick Owens yesterday. Today the Dior and Martin Margiela shows went down and as you can imagine these are two of the most important shows on schedule. As such a massive crowd of people showed up for the two shows, resulting in the Parisian police having some trouble getting organized.

From Carine Roitfeld and Olivier Zahm, to up and coming French actress Roxanne Mesquida, and the who is who of magazine editors, everybody was there. The style range of people was really wide, with everything from Givenchy Spring/Summer ‘12 to Supreme and Louboutin on view.

Today we can present the first batch of items, produced for the 20th anniversary of iconic Milanese concept store 10CorsoComo. Next to t-shirts, tote bags and other little accessories, the store presents product collaborations with Maison Martin Margiela and Zippo. We always appreciate the unique design by the store, setting itself apart from everything else out there.

For the occasion the entire store was redesigned and refurnished. This is only the first batch of products for the special occasions with more collaborations with Comme des Garcons, Paul Smith and others, still in the pipeline. We will keep you posted.

The brand once again manages to add interesting and innovative color options, as well as materials to their footwear collection. Maison Martin Margiela got together with yoox.com to also show their support for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The “Support Japan” t-shirt is now available in the official Margiela online store, with 100% of the proceeds going to the International Federation of Red Cross.

Maison Martin Margiela has released an updated version of their high top sneaker for Spring/Summer 2011. The elephant grey full grained suede hi-tops come with a thick gun metal curb chain trim. Somewhat an ironic detail for the brand known for its subtle details and that is also why we like it. Browns has the sneaker in stock now.
