Martin Margiela is always good for a surprise and tends to impress every once in a while with his creations. The latest piece to do that is the Parachute Waistcoat. A graphic Parachute waistcoat made up of 10 small fastening pockets of different textures, denims, cottons and polyurethane. The piece zip fastens down the middle and can be worn on the body with two adjustable cross straps and a waist belt.

Recently the ModeMuseum Antwerp hosted a Maison Martin Margiela exhibition, showing off a vast amount of fashion and art works by the designer. The exhibition ended up being such a success, that it was extended and will start traveling the world.

The new Holdall bag by Martin Margiela is looking really nice. The combination of white canvas and light brown premium leather goes well. We present you some of Martin Margiela’s new Spring 2009 sneakers. The designer presents a clean hi top, coming with a white leather/beige suede upper. The lacing is interesting, yet the sneaker keeps an overall very clean look.

More interesting though is the confetti sneaker, made to celebrate the brands anniversary. Each confetti has been individually placed onto the sneakers, making each sneaker unique. That’s what you call attention to detail.
