Opening Ceremony as usual stays busy. Just before we gave you a look at the Timberland collaboration, here now some images of their new bag collection in collaboration with premium Japanese brand Master-Piece. They worked on two backpacks and two small messenger bags.

RockersNYC and Japanese luxury bag company Master-piece teamed up to create a limited run of bags. Master-piece reworked its stellar tote bag in three different colorways featuring RockersNYC’s epic Evoleyes print. Each bag is crafted with leather trim and impeccable details including snap-down zipper ends, an inside zip pocket, card pockets, cell phone pocket, water bottle pocket and key chain ring. Master-piece also applied the RockersNYC Delgado print to their Boston bag. Available now in select stores in the UK and Japan, and worldwide on the RockersNYC Webstore.

Premium Japanese luggage label master-piece has worked with Beams on a series of fanny packs. The mid size bags come in a variety of colorways, using premium canvas, leather and other materials on the upper. Overall the bag comes in 4 colorways and is now available at Beams.

Japanese brands Push Connection and master-piece got together to produce two nice pieces – a backpack and a shoulder bag. Both feature a nice woven fabric on the upper and black suede details. The two pieces comes as an early release from the Push Connection Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Via Unbar.

The new Master-Piece Spring 2009 collection has been released at Opening Ceremony. Just like Masterpiece, Master-Piece is also a Japanese brand, but they are not the same. A little confusing. Anyways, Master-Piece is known for their high quality bag collections. For spring they offer some quality messenger bags, tote bags and backpacks, coming in strong colorways with great details.

On a recent visit to Opening Ceremony in New York we had for the first time the pleasure of checking out live the bag collection by Japanese brand Master-Piece. We were very impressed by the quality that the brand was offering, including the choice of materials, details and just the general silhouettes the line was offering.

The one piece that was stuck in our mind was the tote bag – perfect size, a nice mix of tradition materials (tweed and plaid) and a modern tote silhouette.
