Theater8 is a collection created by Crown Jewel in collaboration with Mastermind Japan. The first collections were with The Godfather, Marilyn Monroe and John Lennon. Their latest series of t-shirts now come in a collaboration with world recognized photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Mastermind Japan has teamed up with G-Shock to produce a pair of  DW-5600 and DW-6900 models for Valentine’s Day.

Both watches come adorned with Mastermind Japan’s signature skulls on the face and are bodied in full black. The two watches are sold as a set and are available online at Colette.

A must-have for all those addicted to Japanese brand Mastermind, this collector box; created for the 10 year anniversary of the brand. It contains a 200 pages book, as well as a poster, a bag and a stencil of the famous skull. Special edition of 700, published by East Touch. Once again also avaialble at Colette. I think we covered their entire new stock by now for the month!

Mastermind Japan gets together with Converse to work on the Jack Purcell Mid. Of course in comes in mostly black with white accents, nothing else was expected by the Japanese brand. The skull and bones branding comes embroidered on the heel. The tongue tag also has a Mastermind Japan branding and reveals that the shoe is limited to 1800 pairs worldwide. Pics via Anytime.

Some more pieces of the Mastermind Japan Spring/Summer 2008 collection has been released. This drop consisted of a new black logo t-shirt, raw denim with logo embroideries on the back pocket and the front pocket, as well as a Mastermind Japan branded notebook.

It is incredible seeing Mastermind Japan going into their 11th year and still you will hardly find any goods by the brand that are not black and do not carry the skull and bones logo. The drive to deliver superior quality with a subtle aesthetic just seems to work.
Here we give you a look at some of the first releases out of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. A nice new windstopper blouson, skull denim pants, cap, scarf, ties and also a Fragment Design x Base Control underwear collection. All these goods are now available at Cliff Edge.

Mastermind Japan and Fragment Design worked once again together, this time on a track jacket. It of course comes, just like most Mastermind Japan items in all black with gold accents on the cuffs and around the waist. On the chest it has the Mastermind and the Fragment logo patches embroidered. The track jacket is now available at Cliff Edge. We also saw somewhere a matching polo, in case you are interested, search a little for that.

Similar to the collaborations that Mastermind Japan had worked earlier on with Visvim, they now got together OTS on a leather sneaker. No surprises here – black leather upper, zipper on the side, skull logo on the back heel. A solid sneaker by the Japanese high-end brand. Via Conceptshop.

Medicom announced over the weekend a massive line-up of Bearbricks that will be hitting stores over the coming months. Here we give you a look at the more special pieces that you should be looking out for.
For Valentines Day 2008, they will be releasing a set of Bearbricks, business as usual. There will be a 100% & 400% ResonateGoodenough Bearbrick set. Pepsi got together with Medicom and Nex Fox to release a series of movie inspired Bearbricks, one for each f the following movies: Fight Club, Alien, The Day After Tomorrow, The Devil Wears Prada, Titanic, 24, Prison Break, Predator, Die Hard, Planet Of The Apes, Night At The Museum and The Omen. Also there will be a new 1000% Mastermind Bearbrick, Royal Order and Queens East Bearbricks and a lot more!

Theater 8 and Mastermind Japan are running an on-going collaboration project, in which they choose for each collection a theme, that is based on movie culture. The first collection was based on “The Godfather” movie series and now the second installment has been released with “Marilyn Monroe” being the theme. T-shirts, caps, shirts with imagery of the famous star have been released in Japan, all in the usual high-end quality that you are used from Mastermind Japan. Pics via Figure.
