Alexander McQueen’s McQ Spring/Summer 2012 line has been unveiled via this lookbook, so here is a preview of what to expect in the coming months. A really solid lineup of pieces is seen amongst the goods as well as just an all around diverse range enabling you to really mix it up from greaser to prep. The collection also hearkens back to a more youthful 50’s styling with its patterns and cuts utilized throughout.

One of our favorite pieces from the new McQ Fall/Winter 2011 Collection has released this week. The casual line of Alexander McQueen, inspired by both the main line and British subcultures, has dropped a beautiful leather trimmed bomber jacket. We like the upgrade with the leather and especially that they did not use too much of it, with only the front and arm pockets featuring it. A great piece for daily wear, the jacket is now in stock at Mr. Porter.

The younger McQ Collection from Alexander McQueen recently showed their new Spring/Summer 2012 Men’s Collection. While denim is still at the core of the line, the upcoming season had a heavy 50s and 60s rockabilly inspiration. Stand out pieces for us include the jackets, blazers and of course the jeans.

McQ Alexander McQueen presents a double breasted twill motorcycle jacket in black with grey sleeves. The jacket features epaulet shoulders, exposed zips and various distressed details. The Italian made jacket is now in stock at SSENSE.

Drawing much inspiration from 90s grunge, the fall McQ collection by late design genius Alexander McQueen finds strength in it’s mix of patterns, colors and textures. Before his passing, designer extra-ordinaire Alexander McQueen still created a strong collection for his McQ diffusion line, which we can present you here today. The looks of next season are beautiful. We really like the layering in the collection, the play with plaid patterns and the comfort. Definitely something to look out for.

Kai and Sunny once again designed the McQ press kit for Spring 2010. Also they worked again with UNKLE on the record that came along with the press kit. The complete kit consists of a tote bag, a t-shirt and an UNKLE CD.

Alexander McQueen presents his new menswear range under the McQ label for Spring/Summer 2010. The collection looks pretty solid, high end, yet very casual and easy to wear. Especially the jackets look very nice and have some outstanding details.

For the Alexander McQueen sub collection, entitled McQ, UNKLE has produced the music for Autumn/Winter 2009. Kai & Sunny have created the CD design and packaging. Look out for a release in the coming months.
