André x Medicom Toy "Monsieur A" Kubrick Set

We get a first look at the latest work from Parisian artist André and Japan’s Medicom Toy. Once again they worked on some Kubricks, this time consisting of a set of Kubricks of his iconic Monsieur A character. Since 7 years the collaborative store of 10 Corso Como and Comme des Garcons is open in Tokyo. To celebrate the occasion the two got together with medicom to produce two 400% Bearbricks and matching t-shirts. The Bearbricks come in black/white and white/black, with only a small logo placement on the back and matching packaging. The t-shirts both also feature the Bearbricks in the form of graphics. Both Bearbricks and t-shirts are now available from Bobos.

After giving you a first look at the upcoming release of Winnie The Pooh as a vinyl toy and plush toy in a collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design and Medicom Toy, we can show you some more detailed images today. The black version of the character definitely came out nice, with red outfit and apple on the head, including the Fragment Design logo placed on the back of both toys. We still cannot confirm a release date, but will keep you posted.

Many of you out there have probably already seen Watchmen, a movie that has been much talked about in recent months, especially since its release beginning of March. Medicom Toy got together with DC Comics to create a 100% and a 400% Watchmen Bearbrick set. The set will be coming out in May 2009.

Previewed here a couple of months ago, we give you a more detailed look at the collaboration between Medicom Toy, Porter and Maharishi on a luggage collection. Each partner contributed a different aspect to the project. Medicom Toy produced the fabrick of the bags, Maharishi provided the camouflage design and Porter the silhouettes and contruction of the bags. The outcome is a small collection consisting of a technical backpack, a tote bag, wallet and digicam/cellphone pouch.

The Medicom Toy x Porter x Maharishi collection is now available at Ships Jet Blue.

After giving you a detailed look at the CLOT x Levi’s x Medicom Toy Strawberry and Watermelon denim the other day, we present you the rest of the collaborative collection today. They also worked on polo shirts and t-shirts, for both men and women.

The polo shirts come in black and white and feature the head of the Strawberry and Watermelon Bearbricks embroidered on the chest in small. The t-shirts also come in black and white and have the Bearbrick head printed in larger on the front. Each purchase comes with a sticker set as well.

The CLOT x Medicom Toy “Strawberry & Watermelon” t-shirts and polos will be released on December 22nd at Juice in Hong Kong as well as online.

Beams has launched a rather big collaboration project today with Vans and Medicom Toy. Together with Vans and the artist Jim Phillips they worked on the Sk8 Hi, which comes in two colorways, both featuring the famous characters by Jim Phillips on the upper. 
Matching the sneakers, they worked with Medicom Toy on the "Screaming Leg" vinyl toy, which comes in a blue, orange and glow-in-the-dark version.
Both the Beams x Vans x Jim Phillips Sk8 Hi’s and the Beams x Medicom x Jim Phillips "Screaming Leg2 toys are now available at Beams.
