Dr. Romanelli x Hello Kitty "Candy Striper" by Medicom

Inspired by hospital volunteers, which are sometimes referred to as candy stripers, Dr. Romanelli created in collaboration with Hello Kitty a new toy, which has of course been produced by Medicom Toy. The hospital theme is of course right up the alley of the Dr. and could not fit better. Look out for a release very soon.

Loopwheeler x Medicom Bearbricks and Hoodies

The release of the much anticipated Loopwheeler Bearbricks is getting closer. The fleece specialists got together with Medicom to work on 100%, 400% and 1000% Bearbricks. They will be released with bear themed zip hoodies. A release is set for September 26th. Today we can already give you a look at the hoodies and some of the Bearbricks.

Art Convenience Store: André x Medicom Kubricks, mastermind Japan Umbrella

The Art Convenience Store will be opening its doors at colette on September 21rst. The theme of the pop-up store is “Souvenir from Tokyo” and thus the store will feature numerous interesting collaborative items, including Hiroshi Fujiwara x Frixion pens, Jun Takahashi (Undercover) x Gimbis biscuits, Chitose Abe (Sacai) x Sanrio, Nobuhiko Kitamura (Hysteric Glamour) x Snoopy, Medicom Toy x André Kubricks, as well as a mastermind Japan umbrella. Today we can already preview the umbrella and the Kubrick set.

The Art Convenience Store will be at Uniqlo in New York and Doverstreet Market London before arriving at colette. Afterwards it will travel to Joyce Hong Kong and Isetan Tokyo.

Hello Kitty x Caperino & Peperone Figure by Medicom Toy

Not only Dr. Romanelli collaborated with Medicom on a Hello Kitty figure, but also the in-official mascots of Parisian boutique colette – Caperino & Peperone. The toy comes with a glow-in-the-dark effect showing off the Caperino & Peperone characters only in the dark. The toy is now available here.

Canton x Fabrik x Porter x Erik Brunetti

Canton got together with the Fabrik division of Medicom Life Entertainment, Porter as well as Fuct’s Erik Brunetti to create a pair of denim with a matching Porter belt pouch. The denim comes in different colorways and feature many accents, including prints, graphics and more. The same graphic are replicated on the lining of the black Porter pouch, which comes with every pair of denim. The denim is now available from Zozomesse.

Dr. Romanelli x Medicom x Hello Kitty T-Shirts

A while ago we announced the collaboration between Dr. Romanelli, Hello Kitty and Medicom. Next to a vinyl toy, there will also be a series of t-shirts coming out of this collaborative project and we show you the line-up today. Dr. Romanelli nicely mixes Hello Kitty characters and signature graphics with a doctor theme. Overall there will be 6 t-shirts in this capsule collection, releasing very soon. Takashi Murakami x Medicom "inochi" Figure Releasing Soon

We reported about the vinyl figure collaboration, inochi, between Medicom Toys and artist Takashi Murakami a while ago. It seems like we are coming close to a release, as we have come across some great new images. The figure will come in 5 different versions, each dressed in a different outfit. The figures will be each limited to 200 pieces and they will go for around 1500 USD. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

Medicom Bearbrick August 2009 Update | SpongeBob, Columbia, Mickey Mouse & More

Medicom will be releasing some interesting new Bearbricks in the coming weeks. Today we get a first look at some of their upcoming collaborations. SpongeBob returns in a 400% version. Kuntzel & Deygas got to decorate two a 400% and a 100% Bearbrick with their Caperino and Peperone characters. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse come in double set in 100% sizes. Furthermore Kinetics has one again collaborated with Columbia – this time on a Bearbrick instead of clothing.

A Glimpse At TK's (Silly Thing) Art Collection | Kaws, Futura & More

TK of Silly Thing has worked on a series of very impressive projects in recent years. We reported about the recent Iron Man figure, The Beatles 1000% Kubricks and many more. Today we get a look at his personal art collection, which is nothing short of impressive. You will find numerous pieces from Kaws and Futura, along with other great contemporary artists. The symetry that is injected in the collection is also very nice – have a look at his toy line-up, where he placed multiple pieces of the same toy in the same colorway together, forming an overall eye-catching collection.

Dr. Romanelli x Hello Kitty x Medicom Toy

We get a first look at the upcoming collaboration between Dr. Romanelli, Sanrio and Medicom Toy. Together they worked on new Hello Kitty figures, overall three of them. Dr. Romanelli was inspired by his fascination with medical science. The three figures will be complemented by a capsule apparel collection upon release. More information will follow soon.
