Japanese bike shop Advantage Cycle enlisted the help of Avoid and German bag manufacturer Bagjack to create an exclusive Messenger. The bag features a hand-woven fabric based on traditional Asian patterns, while the bag itself is hand made in Berlin to top quality standards; complete with waterproofing and lots of room to carry whatever you need for the day-to-day. Limited to only 10 pieces and now available at Ships Jet Blue.

This weekend you will see more product coming from BBC/Ice Cream, featuring their waffle pattern. This time the pattern appears on a messenger bag, t-shirts and once again on pants. The new product will be available in their Tokyo flagship store from tomorrow.

Upper Playground and Chrome chose to feature the work of Sam Flores and Jeremy Fish, both San Francisco based artists whose art speaks to the bicycle subculture. Flores and Fish have created compelling designs that are embroidered on the front flap of the Chrome Bag. Jeremy Fish’s “Fowl Mood” design features an elaborate owl “wall paper” pattern, while Sam Flores’ “Angel of Death” art features one of his signature characters riding a bicycle amongst the clouds. This project has enabled both brands to fuse contemporary art with durable design. The Upper Playground & Chrome artist series messenger bags are available in limited quantities and will be sold exclusively at select lifestyle boutiques and through Upper Playground and Chrome retail stores.

The first pieces from the Visvim Fall/Winter 2009 Ballistic Luggage Collection collection have been released. They present the 20L and 22L backpacks, as well as the E-Cat 18L messenger bag. All three pieces come in a strong, yet very nice, yellow tone. The uppers are made of ballistic nylon and elk leather and all three bags of course feature all the technical aspects and features that one could wish for. They are now available from Cliff Edge.

Two nice new messenger bags are coming from Japanese brand White Mountaineering in collaboration with Porter. The bags are clearly made for summer and come in lightweight materials. Also the colors hint at the season. They come in all white and oliver green. The bags are now available at Ark.

After a first initial preview the other day, we show you today some better images of the new Spring/Summer 2009 NEXUSVII® x Porter messenger bags. The two brands worked on two different styles, both featuring cotton and leather on the upper. The classic inspiration, paired with the up-to-date features and materials worked really well. Without a doubt these two styles are among our favorite this season.

The other day we showed you the backpack from the on-going collaboration of London store Goodhood and R.Newbold. Here we present you now the messenger bag, which looks equally strong. A nice navy upper with pink accents and a bright orange lining. The base comes in natural suede and the rest of the bag in canvas. It is now available here.

Berlin based premium messenger bag brand Bagjack has collaborated with the New York Hat Company. The New York Hat Company has been around for over 25 years and is dedicated to produce premium hats and caps in New York City. Together with Bagjack they produced two messenger bags and a matching cap. The bags and the hat feature grey fleece, sourced by The New York Hat Company. The product came out great and one can be sure that the quality is on point. We recommend the fleece for the summer, as its light and looks great, but on rainy days you might want to leave these at home. Via Hynm.

The Undercover Tribal Messenger Bag first released last season in a very colorful option. For Spring/Summer 2009 the bag returns in more toned down colors for both men and women.
