Just recently we presented to you the Burton Plaid Luggage collection. This time the brand presents something a little more sleek, the croc luggage collection. The line consists of messenger bags, backpacks, wallets, trollies, pretty much everything one could need in terms of luggage or bags. The entire collection comes with black croc uppers.

A few weeks ago we presented to you the wallets of this second collaboration between Stussy and Porter this year. This collection is also part of the Vehicle Collection, unlike the first patent collection, this one comes in all nylon.
They present a line-up of different size messenger bags and also a backpack. The bags come in navy blue, black and yellow. All bags come with a yellow inner lining.
Overall a nice and solid collection. The bags are now available at premium Stussy retailers around the globe.

While we mostly report these days about new Holiday ‘07 collections, XLarge already presents some of their Spring/Sumer 2008 collection at Stless.
The new XLarge Spring/Summer ‘08 collection is split into three themes – Fat Food, 1991 and OG.

In the Fat Food theme you find hoodies, t-shirts, New Era caps and denim with bold prints and loud graphics. Just like the name says, hamburgers and french fries find their way onto the XLarge clothing.
With the 1991 theme XLarge presents longsleeve t-shirts, denim, hoodies and a messenger bag. In terms of graphics, they were very much inspired by the Olympics.
For those of you, that find the Fat Food and 1991 themes too loud and bold, the OG theme is the right one. Classic XLarge artwork applied onto denim, t-shirts and classic shirts dominate this part of the collection.

Japanese store Stless continues its 5 year anniversary celebrations and after collaborating with FTC and XLarge now got together with Futura Laboratories on some nice messenger bags. The bags comes in a black/white striped pattern in two colorways. On the inside they feature an all-over signature design by the artist.
Definitely a nice piece and more exciting than most of the more simple and unicolor messenger bags that we come across these days!

Once again Japanese store Atmos and luggage brand Porter get together. This time they did not only search for innovative design, they sourced special materials for the collection and found with Pendleton Woolen Mills, known for its outstanding American wool, the perfect partner. As part of the Atmos Autumn/Winter 2007 collection they present the Pendleton Wool Collection.
The collection consists of messenger bags, day bag backpack, wallet and coin cases. Each style comes in two colorways in the collection. The line fuses the technical expertise of  Porter with the classic materials of Pendleton, that feature in this collection a somewhat native American design.
One of the strongest luggage lines we have seen this season. Atmos will launch the collection today, October 5th, and if we are lucky it will also be available soon in their NYC store.

For this coming Fall/Winter ‘07 season Visvim and Undercover came together to release some messenger bags. Based on the classic Visvim Ballistic series Undercover added its own flavor to them. We only have this preview picture via TK, but you can already see little changes such as fur linings and the addition of color here and there on the usually plain Visvim bags. For sure something to look out for! Should we get better pictures of this collaboration we’ll give you an update!

Here you see some of the latest releases by Futura Laboratories. They released an entire range of hot new t-shirts. Also they bring the matching t-shirts to the messenger bags that we presented earlier on along with new messenger bags. One of the stronger releases by the brand lately. Pics via Bothanspynet.

Here you see the latest bags by The North Face Purple Label. They just released in Japan some new messenger bags, that come with faux croc skin on the upper and a camouflage inner lining. They offer the bags in two colorways and two sizes. Hopefully soon the Purple Label collection will also make its way outside of Japan. Pics via Reinforce.

Messenger bags are all over the place these days. Sometimes it might seem to be getting boring, but on the other site, just like with New Era caps people have to get more creative in order to stick out in the mass of releases.
Here you see the latest Benny Gold creations for Timbuk2, one of the classic bike messenger bag suppliers out of San Francisco. He created for them the “Chain Plaid” pattern, which is as you could have guessed, the mix of classic plaid and a bike chain. Turns out to be looking pretty good. The bags come in different sizes and colorways and will be released this coming Thursday at the Timbuk2 flagship store in San Francisco.
