Michael Genovese “It’s Not The Heat, It’s The Humility” @ O.H.W.O.W.

For his premiere solo exhibition in Miami, Chicago native Michael Genovese released a body of work that includes site-specific installations, sculpture, and paintings. Genovese’s technical handling of type and unorthodox use of industrialized media exemplifies his focus on community and its influence, but also digs inward and begins the process of reconciling his public works with his personal journeys. The show opened last Saturday, June 13th and runs until July 25, 2009 at O.H.W.O.W. in Miami, Florida.
