Following up on the Eras and Slip-Ons seen earlier, we now have a look at the Mid Skools and Old Skools from Vans’ Fall 2009 Off The Wall Pack. Once again, the shoes are presented in their original colorways from 1977, which seem as relevant today as ever.

Classickicks x Vans Summer 2008 | Era And Mid Skool ‘77

highsnobiety - Classickicks x Vans Summer 2008 | Era And Mid Skool '77
New York’s Classickicks got together with Vans to collaborate on a series of models for this summer. They worked on the Era and on the Mid Skool ‘77. The Era comes in four different make-ups, each featuring a mix of colors on the panels. The Mid Skool ‘77 stay a little more simple and comes in red and blue, with canvas and suede on the upper.
Classickicks did not work with embroideries, prints or any of those techniques that we end up seeing all the time these days on mostly over the top designed shoes, that might look good on your shelf, but not on your foot. They only played with colors and panels and one can still see right away, that this is not a regular Vans shoe. Congrats on that.
Here you see the sneakers still in sample stage, but very soon we will be able to show you detailed images of the final production shoes.
Check out all six sneakers out of the Classickicks x Vans Summer 2008 collaboration after the jump.
