One of Wu Tang’s most popular members, Raekwon the Chef is back with an all new upcoming mixtape called “Unexpected Victory” dropping on New Year’s Day exclusively at Dat Piff. Mighty Healthy, who is no stranger to Wu-inspired tees, gets in on the action with this special limited edition collaborative tee shirt, which also drops on the first day of 2012. Each tee shirt order will be accompanied by a hard copy of the new mixtape, making for extra incentive to cop the tee. If you’re not too partied out New Year’s day, be sure to remember to get both the mixtape and tee.

In our new EGO BOOST series, we’ll be catching up with people from in and around the industry to get their take on life and whatever else we feel chatting about. Ray Mate of Mighty Healthy (who we recently made some caps with) is our first lucky candidate.

New York is unlike any city in the world because….. Everyone here is angry about some shit—Knicks suck, Weather sucks, Economy sucks, Yankess are awesome. The city never sleeps, bro. You can disappear over here. You have to live here for a while to appreciate it. That’s why I can’t leave this place.

My life would have been totally different if….. I didn’t quit my day job. Some dude made a racial slur toward my Asian heritage and I decided not to punch him in the face and walked out. Life has been a pretty fun ride ever since.

On the occasion of this summer’s Berlin Fashion Week and the 10th Anniversary of the Bread & Butter fashion tradeshow, we decided to create a Berlin edition of Mighty Healthy’s “KROY WEN” (NEW YORK) snapback cap.

Available in black and white, or navy, red and white, the caps feature a mirror image of our home city’s namesake, BERLIN or “NILREB.” Further details include Highsnobiety and Mighty Healthy logos on the left temple as well as a green Mighty Healthy tab at the back. All hats are made in the USA.

Each style has its own personality which can be dressed up or down depending on individual style.”
