After having presented the first collaboration between Reebok and Solebox on the Workout Plus yesterday, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the iconic sneaker, we move on to the next team-up.

Reebok also got together with Japanese retailer mita sneakers for this special project. Keeping the functionality aspect in mind, that the Reebok Workout Plus was initially introduced for, mita was inspired by workwear for their version of the sneaker. Functional beauty is the core message of their design, which features a heavy duck canvas upper, gum outer sole, striped wool lining and hiking boot laces.

The mita sneakers x Reebok Workout Low Plus 25th Anniversary will release along with the other retail collaborations on February 15th, 2012.

Here comes an interesting new pack from New Balance, celebrating the 2012 Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon. The sneaker brand teamed up with Whiz from Japan, Invincible from Taiwan, Mita Sneakers from Japan, Limited Edt from Singapore and NPC from China, each creating a special colorway of the 574 running shoe for the Dragon Pack. While 4 colorways of the sneaker will release, these collaborations for now are only for display purposes, which is a real pity, because they are obviously much stronger than the actual release shoes.

Maybe New Balance changes their mind if you guys ask for a proper release. Check them all out after the jump.

Well, we all know how much the Japanese love their leopard patterns. mita sneakers has teamed up with Reebok on the classic Insta Pump Fury and given it the leopard treatment.While most of the upper is covered in the pattern, other details are in black and grey with hints of red. Look out for a release January 2nd, 2012.

The other day we introduced you to the new New Balance 581 sneaker, which will first drop for Spring 2012. To give the new silhouette a bit of a push, New Balance has lined up a series of retailer collaborations, including Bodega from Boston, 24 Kilates Barcelona, Mita Sneakers Tokyo and Kasina from Seoul. All four have added their own little twists to the low top running shoe, with performance details.

These four collaborative sneakers are supposed to release in the first half of 2012, we will keep you posted.

Japanese retailer mita sneakers gets together with retailer Oshmann’s and New Balance to collaborate on the H710 hiking sneaker. The mid top sneaker comes in a black suede colorway with contrasting white stitching and features a mexican blanket fabric detail on the heel. The New Balance logo has been printed onto the side-panel and the outer sole has been given a bit of a vintage effect.

adidas Originals teams up with Japanese sneaker store Mita. For Fall/Winter 2011 they present a pack of Campus 80s. The sneaker comes in a navy colorway and grey, in both cases featuring suede uppers. The sneaker comes with almost no branding and an overall vintage theme, most apparent on the off-white/yellow outer sole. Mita kept things very classic and clean, making sure to not do too much to the iconic silhouette. Both sneakers are now available from No. 74.

Thrasher continues to roll out their Japanese exclusive footwear line with a new Cluct x Mita model. The nubuck and leather sneakers come in black or brown and feature a “Death Before Dishonor” printed insole amongst various other Thrasher imagery. If our Japanese serves us right, these are now on pre-order for a March delivery.

Japanese brand CLUCT has teamed up with retailer mita sneakers and Thrasher to create two mid top sneakers as part of their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The sneakers feature mixed canvas and suede uppers, CLUCT branding on the tongue tag and side-panel, and come under the the Japanese Thrasher sneaker label.

The boot inspired New Balance MT580 BRR is certainly one of the more anticipated sneakers to come out from the brand these days. They worked with Hectic, mita sneakers and Andsuns on the premium leather sneaker and after several looks at it already, we can finally give you an exact release date today. The running shoe with heritage inspiration will drop in Japan on April 29th, with an official pre-sale taking place from April 22nd in the official Hectic online store.

After a first preview here the other day, we can now take a more detailed look at the upcoming collaboration between ANDSUNS, HECTIC and mita sneakers on the New Balance MT580. The sneaker comes with a premium thick brown leather upper and in general has an outdoor boot inspiration. Contrasting white stitching and the hiking boot laces make for some nice accents on the upper, which otherwise remains very clean. A release of the sneaker is set for April 29th.
