Taking a bit of a workwear boot inspiration, New Balance has teamed up with Japanese brands ANDSUNS, HECTIC and Japanese retailer mita sneakers to work on a new colorway of the MT580 sneaker. The sneaker comes in a premium brown leather colorway white mid- and outer-sole and hiking boot laces. Even though we have seen this make-up already on lots of sneakers from several brands, it still works and results in a clean looking sneaker. Look out for a release May 2011.

Hectic continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a series of New Balance sneakers in collaboration with Mita Sneakers. The latest one, the MT580 BKX, comes with a black/wood grain upper, hint of tan leather and a nice toe cap structure. Furthermore it features just like the previous 10th anniversary releases this year a sneaker all-over print on the insole.

Once again mita sneakers joins forces with Oshmann’s and New Balance in Japan and this time they present the CM1700. The running sneaker comes in a very classic all grey leather outfit with hints of mesh and navy suede details. These will be available from mita from December 11th.

Japanese retailers Mita Sneakers and Oshman’s worked with New Balance on a CM1400 sneaker. It comes in a solid navy/grey colorway with white mid-sole and gum outer sole. They will release on November 6th at Mita.

In the third part of their “Kirimomi Project”, Japan’s Mita Sneakers and Asics presents a new colorway of the Gel Lyte 3. The sneaker comes this time in all black, featuring a tonal leopard pattern on the upper, with the only color being placed on the in-sole.  The sneaker officially releases from Mita Sneakers October 2nd.

In the latest New Balance Japan collaboration, the sneaker brand gets together with mita sneakers and AKM. They worked on the iconic CM576. The sneakers comes in premium leather version with nice detailed on the upper, along with a matching AKM dustbag and leather in-soles.

We continue our tour in the halls of the Asics showcase on Torstrasse in Berlin, which you should by the way definitely check out if you are in the city. Here we give you a first exclusive look at the upcoming collaboration with Mita Sneakers. They chose black leather and black nylon on the upper, while the in-sole comes with a leopard pattern. The sneaker will drop October 2010.

AKM collaborates with mita sneakers and New Balance on a new CM576 release. The sneakers mix cream and white leathers in various finishes, resulting in a well-contrasted upper. Further details such as cross stitching and piping add an element of luxury. Now on pre-order at HYBAA for a late July delivery.

We already presented you two MT580’s celebrating the 10th anniversary of the on-going collaboration between HECTIC, mita sneakers and New Balance in April. Here is now the second part of the 10th anniversary project, consisting once again of two colorways of the MT580 running sneaker. This time they come in white leather and in brown suede, both looking very solid. The in-sole features a photo print of all sneakers that came out from this collaboration to date.

Five way Japanese collab results in extremely average looking sneaker. Not that there’s anything wrong with the shoe – we actually quite like it – it’s just hard to imagine how the design meetings went down with Oshman’s, mita Sneakers, MASTERPIECE, Corona and New Balance all at the table.
