From the runways in Milan, we present the Thom Browne designed Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

As usual the designer picked a sports theme for this collaboration with the European ski company. The Spring/Summer 2012 Collection takes heavy cues from the fencing sport, reflected in many looks, cuts and details. The outerwear is of course as usual the main point of focus and the most interesting part of the collection.

One of our favorite jackets from the current Moncler Grenoble Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is the above gingham parka. A nice technical jacket with a blue/white gingham upper and just the right amount of details.

Selectism already showcased some images of the impressive flash mob presentation of the Moncler Grenoble Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, that took place this week at Grand Central Station. In the middle of the station, models wearing the new line, would just start dancing, with the usual Central Station crowd becoming part of the performance. Once again Moncler impresses with originality when it comes to their collection previews. Luckily we can show you the spectacle with the video here above!

One of our favorite pieces from the new Moncler Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is the Aspen Jacket. The mix of canvas and leather piping came out really nice and the color accent on the hood makes for a nice finish. The jacket is now available at End.

This weekend Moncler and Thome Browne showcased the new Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The American designer was heavily inspired by the English traditions of dog hunting and horse riding. Fantastic re-interpretations of classics make up most of the collection, which is made up of lots of tartan and quilted patterns in a fixed color palette. Moncler’s signature look and colors are once again put into the right light in the collection.

We would have to lie if we would not say that the classic shiny Moncler down jacket has seen a slight overload on the street these past couple of seasons. While we are a little over-saturated of that particular signature look of the brand, we can only applause them for the diffusion lines that they have presented, including strong collaborations with Hiroki Nakamura of visvim and of course Thom Browne.

That the new Moncler Grenoble Spring/Summer 2011 Collection caught us by surprise is a bit of an understatement. But we mean it in a positive way. It is strong, it is colorful and it is very technical. Royal blue, red, orange, green are all present in the new collection, which presents light weight technical jackets with lots of pockets and functionality, as well as matching outdoor boots and beautiful backpacks. We cannot wait to check out the line live on its release.

The first new product from the Thom Browne designed Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2011 Collection is getting into stores. The cycling cap had already caught our attention during the presentation. It is now in stock at colette, in both navy and white.

From the new Moncler Spring/Summer 2011 Collection we present a clean high top sneaker. A white leather upper gets upgraded with accents of beige suede. The Moncler logo is embedded into the tongue. All in all a solid and clean sneaker that should be coming out in the following weeks.
