Mors Footwear sent over a few photos of his upcoming Fall 2011 Vulcanized range as shown at Pitti Uomo in Italy last week. The range, which includes Tennis shoes and desert boots is all made in Europe using Italian materials like soft nappa and suede. Available this fall through www.morsfootwear.com and select retailers.

After already previewing the Mors Footwear Spring/Summer 2011 Collection a while back, we take a look at a new style that the brand is introducing next season – the Wolf fish Runner. Once again Mors introduces an interesting and yet unseen material in the sneaker market.

“With the spotted Wolf-fish skin, mors have given a twist on the classic animal prints like leopard skin. The wolf fish has a strong skin that have amazing natural patterns, spots and textures, sourced from the arctic it is a by product of the fishing industry.”

Inspired by vintage sports apparel, the SS11 Mors footwear collection features the best quality Italian suede and nappa materials in subdued colours such as dark red and navy. All shoes are handcrafted in Portugal and will be available from the Mors online store at morsfootwear.com.

Mors Footwear continues to work with artic leather for Fall/Winter 2010 and will be introducing new colorways for the coming season.

“Mors, the footwear brand will be further expanding its range of elk leather and suede products for fall/winter 2010. Drawing on the inspiration of arctic cultures for the Fall/winter season, all of the materials for the range are sourced from within the arctic. The ‘hoop’ high top will be available in a natural elk suede colour adding to the black leather and grey elk suede already available. The ‘net’ tennis style will be available in a soft grey elk suede exclusive to mors and a butter soft black elk leather. The idea behind these shoes is to create crafted footwear which is tactile, soft and durable.”

The sneakers will be available from the Mors online store and from Asos.

Mors Footwear previews another selection of sneakers from their FW 2010 campaign. In this installment, the young sneaker label tweaks a couple of classic running silos with hiking elements and Arctic Elk suede and leather uppers (sourced from the North of Finland). As with all Mors releases, these are handcrafted in Portugal.

Mors, the UK based sneaker brand will be releasing a range of sneakers made from Arctic fish skin for Fall/Winter 2010 in limited quantities. The ‘hoop’ high top will be available in electric blue fish leather and a black/blue fish leather colorway. The ‘net’ low cut model will be available in a dark blue fish leather. The salmon leather comes from the north of Iceland, it is a very strong and supple leather with amazing textures and colors that have to be seen to really be appreciated. It is very difficult to make sneakers from fish leather, so they can only be produced in small numbers. They are handcrafted to the highest standard in Portugal.

The fish leather sneakers are part of the Autumn/winter Mors range inspired by the arctic and featuring arctic sourced leathers like arctic fish and elk.
