After working recently with Common Projects, Moscot has now gotten together with Shipley & Halmos, yet another stand-out New York brand. The match of classic quality eyewear and the contemporary yet very solid fashion brand, makes sense to us. Together they worked on the iconic Moscot Miltzen frame. Shipley & Halmos used a clear frame and added three colors of lenses to the model. So far we have not heard about a fixed release date yet, but we will definitely keep you posted. We announced them earlier this week and now we finally get a better look at the collaborative sunglasses by Common Projects and Moscot. From these two brands we would not have expected anything else but a clean pair of high quality sunglasses. Today we also see for the first time the pouch that comes along with them and it looks beautiful.

Common Projects continues to expand and all that in a very organic manner. After first introducing their minimal sneakers and afterwards selected leather goods, the brand will soon be introducing their first sunglasses, developed with Moscot Originals – the Type 001.

“The flat black frames have a hefty look but are surprisingly light, with a hint of enamel at the temple where the metal accent would be on a traditional Wayfarer. (The frames are loosely based on the classic shape.) The trademark CP gold lettering is here too, but hidden inside the arms, lending the glasses an anonymous, effortless cool.” Via Men.style.

The sunglasses will be released in July at Moscot stores and go for 285 USD.
