Parisian cashmere specialist Lucien Pellat-Finet gets together with Japanese artist Mr. to collaborate on a series of product. The line-up includes cashmere sweaters, t-shirts and also cushions and blankets. The strong manga artwork by the artist looks great on the premium materials. The collection, which gets into stores in June, will unfortunately not come cheap – regular sweaters by the brand already go for around 1500 USD, so expect these to be even more. Via BKRW.

Detailed images of the Lucien Pellat-Finet x Mr. Collection follow after the jump.

mr 1 Mr. Nobody Dies at Gallery Emmanuel Perrotin

Gallery Emmanuel Perrotin opened a new exhibition of work by Japanese artist Mr. this week. The group of work, entitled “Nobody Dies,” includes both photographs and paintings. Central to the body presented is the idea of irony in candor. This plays out in a series focused on manga styled young women, Lolitas. No matter their activity, these characters display a sense of wonder and wide eyed innosence. On view until January 10, 2009.

On September 20th, the skate decks will also be available in their new online shop (u.s. only). Just a few months ago Supreme launched their first website, which was already unexpected. An online store was definitely the last thing we would ever see from Supreme. Unfortunately the online store is U.S. only.
Otherwise this is just another impressive collaboration by the NYC brand. Thanks to them some of us get our hands on artwork that is otherwise too expensive and unattainable.
Check out all decks in detail after the jump.
