Less than one year after volume 2, Jayceeoh is back with the the highly anticipated release of Super 7 Volume 3. The All-Star line-up this time around is made up of DJ Scene (Las Vegas), Spryte (LA), Team Canada (Grandtheft & Dr-1) (Montreal), Klutch (NYC), M.O.S. (NYC), and Risk One (Seattle). For those unfamiliar with the Super 7 series, the format is 7 DJ’s, 10 minutes per set, any genre or style, with the main criteria focusing on making a creative and action packed mix. The DJs on this series are of the highest caliber.

During a stop in Boston for his latest tour run Kid Cudi and the crew put together a little documentary. Directed by Jason Goldwatch/DECON, the video goes to the tune of Cudi’s latest song “cudderisback”. It’s pure jokes so enjoy and laugh a bit.

Artist and über-producer Pharrell Williams took to the stage at MidemNet two days ago, for an interview conducted by Cornerstone co-CEO Rob Stone. The topics: how artists can engage their fans in the digital era, and the potential of musicians and brands joining forces.

Here’s The Very Best’s video for the single “Warm Heart of Africa”, which features Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig. The group consisting of European production duo Radioclit and Malawian singer Esau Mwamwaya garnered extensive critical acclaim following the October release of their debut album Warm Heart of Africa.

In the process of shooting his official “Humdrum Town” video, Theophilus London shot a totally separate Videoke video, parts of which are included in the official video. Above is the full Videoke video. Kinda crazy we know, but this is it in its entirety.

Someone by the name of Tom Caruana took Wu-Tang acapellas (from various solo and group releases) and threw them over beats made with samples of Beatles songs. Interesting.

Five years on from the release of Demon Days, Murdoc Niccals and co. return with Plastic Beach. The band have taken up residence, recording on a secret floating island deep in the South Pacific, a Plastic Beach HQ, made up of the detritus, debris and washed up remnants of humanity. This Plastic Beach is the furthest point from any landmass on Earth; the most deserted spot on the planet.

The Gorillaz’ return will be marked by a headline appearance at this year’s Coachella festival. The Sunday April 18 performance will be the first Gorillaz live spectacle on U.S. soil since the awe-inspiring Demon Days Live run in April 2006 at New York’s Apollo Theater.

The new album drops on March 9th.
