We have to admit, we when we first saw Native Shoes in Vegas last week, we were skeptical. But with a Gourmet co-sign you know these are legit. What you see here is the evolution of a product to the next level.  Revamping timeless classics (read: Chucks, Eras, Wallabees) in modern Featherlite EVA (read: Crocs) is the modus at Native, and they’ve done a bang up job. Of course there will be all kinds of haters on this one, but we think it’s kind of refreshing.

The messenger bag came back really strong in recent years, also due to the continued excitement about biking and especially fixed gear biking. We have seen messenger bags and bag collaborations from a number of brands over the last couple of seasons and there were many nice ones in the mix, nevertheless we have to say, this new Undercover bag is something else.
The bag comes featuring a fully embroidered upper, also featuring metal coin applications, hinting at an overall native design. It is not the bag that everybody will be into, but there will be many out there that love it. And you can be pretty sure, that nobody around you has anything like it.

We present you an interesting new New Balance M574 pack that we labeled “Native Woven” pack. It consists of two 574’s, a native brown and native green colorway. Both feature woven uppers in suede and nice native stitching details. In general they have done a nice job on the stitching on this pack, highlighting the message.

Fragment designed the latest Neighborhood down jacket that was released today at the Honeyee Store. The jacket come in black and white, each colorway coming in three different versions, with different colors of the design around the neck, which gives the jackets a native feel.

Hiroki Nakamura of Visvim presents their latest products, the Visvim Folk Series. The Folk Series seems to be a new line under the Visvim label very much inspired by native and folk life. Unlike all the other Visvim footwear it features thinner soles and almost has a used look to itself. Not only the look is different from other Visvim footwear, also the materials used differ. For the moment we don’t know much about it, but as we find out more, we’ll let you know.

Japanese shoe brand Ubiq will be releasing soon the Fatima “Native” out of their Fall/Winter collection. Previously they had released the Ubiq Grace with the same theme. The Fatima was always out favorite model in their collection. The Ubiq Fatima “Native” comes with a suede upper and again the “Native” prints on the outer sole. Under the flap they worked with multicolor mesh and the contrast looks great.
Hopefully we will see more of Ubiq in the US and Europe soon. For now it has been hard to come by the brand. Expect these to release soon. After the jump many more detailed pictures of the new Fatima “Native”.
