After having previewed already the Nike Basketball limited edition releases, and the Nike Foamposite One Galactic, we now take a closer look at the NBA All-Star 2012 Dunk High Galactic Pack.

With a motif inspired by astronaut space suits, the Nike Dunk features a waxed canvas upper emulating training suit material. Military stencil font is prominently featured on the upper and outsole, while the inner lining features the supernova graphic print. Available in three different colors including rogue green, flat gold and blue grey, the Nike Dunk also features a removable tongue top patch and Nike Swoosh.

The collection will be available at select retailers and NikeStore.com from February 23.

Nike Basketball is proud to unveil key colorways celebrating its pinnacle players competing in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando later this month. Taking inspiration from space exploration, the collection features a galactic theme on the LeBron 9, Nike Zoom KD IV and Nike Zoom Kobe VII System. Graphics pay homage to the supernova – arguably the most powerful force in the universe – while the outsoles glow in the dark and individual ‘mission patches’ adorn each shoe as a nod to the accolades astronauts receive.

All three editions will be available at select retailers and at NikeStore.com beginning February 25.

Without any doubt many of you are very happy to have the NBA back, starting today, Christmas Day 2011. TNT produced a nice little promo, highlighting some of the greatest players of all time for the occasion. Check it out!

MINDstyle has gotten together with Korean toy designer CoolRain on the NBA mini figure series. The NBA series 1 players included Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Garnett, Derrick Rose, Dirk Nowitzki, Brandon Roy, Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, Amar’e Stoudemire and Dwayne Wade. Look out for the mini figures to release in a limited edition for Fall 2010.

The Kanye West “Amazing” song has been chosen by the NBA for their NBA 2009 Play-Off Campaign. They have produced a trailer for the play-offs, that goes nicely along with the Kanye West song. The trailer premiered today, memorable moments of past play-off games are pouding against the beats of the track. The 2009 Play-Offs start on April 18th.

We give you a preview of the upcoming Nike Blazer High NBA Pack. Inspired by some of your favorite NBA teams, Nike has created a pack of overall six Blazer High’s.

We have never been big fans of these kind of packs, because usually the use of team logos on the sneakers turned out to look pretty bad. Even more we like the outcome of this therefore, where only the colors were used and the outcome is a very solid pack. The entire upper comes in one color and premium suede, including the Swoosh. The sole comes in a second color. Each sneaker comes with two sets of laces, matching both colors used on the sneaker. Even the Nike embroidery on the heel is tonal, which is very nice.

The Nike Blazer High NBA Pack will be released in the coming weeks.

Kobe Bryant was named the MVP of the 2008 NBA season and to commemorate the occasion Recon/Nort presents a special edition t-shirt. The t-shirt mixes the Nort logo with the Lakers colors and the Kobe Bryant logo. No word on the release, but expect it soon!

The adidas/NBA HomeCooked Collection has seen a soft launch at last weeks NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans. The collection consists of limited edition apparel and footwear for 9 distinct US cities. Here we give you a look at the NYC pieces.
Each city gets a reversible trackjacket, t-shirts, cap and an EQT Mid Shoe. Other cities to follow are Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles and Miami.
The theme for the NYC pieces was “The City That Never Sleeps”. Check out the matching reversible trackjacket after the jump.

Here a little preview of a soon to come new Adidas Top Ten glow-in-the-dark pack. The classic basketball shoe gets a modern make-over and comes in two colorways with two different graphic applications. One uses the letters of the name of the shoe, the other one NBA mascots.
