Today we come across a trailer, announcing the forthcoming exhibition of artist Neckface in Los Angeles, entitled “Into Darkness”.

“A homecoming of sorts for the California native, Into Darkness will feature Neck Face at his nastiest – meaning of course, at his best. Following up 2009’s now legendary performance-cum-exhibition in Miami, the artist sets his sights on Hollywood and brings with him the same energy and originality that has made him a cult favorite. Lock your windows and close your doors. He’s on the loose and there’s no telling what surprises he’ll have in store this Halloween.”

New York street artist Neckface worked closely with Altamont on a signature collection of apparel for spring. While several garments (such as the above bandana/balaclava) feature Nasty Neck’s signature artwork, a number of pieces are more toned down with a focus on hidden pockets and other details conducive to Neckface’s lifestyle.

The Neckface Film | Trailer

18 November 2009, 12.55 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Today we hear first things about an upcoming Neckface Film. It seems like the artist stays busy after his recent very successful exhibition opening in Miami. Hee is currently working with Ty Evans on a film. Here you already get to see the trailer.

Evans recently told Slash Film that: “The Necface doc is super rough right now. I started filming Neck back in 2005. A lot has happened since then and there is a lot more to come. When I first started filming him I told him I want to film him for a long time span to capture his growth and everything that comes along with it. It is not coming out anytime soon. Maybe I’m half way? Maybe I’m just getting started? I have no clue. Neck is the illest guy out there and I’m psyched he picked me to tell his story.”

Check out the trailer here above. Enjoy!
