New Balance embraces the local movement for Fall 2012 with the Farmer’s Market pack. Labelled with “New Balance of Cumbria,” these Flimby, UK produced shoes pay tribute to their long-standing local factory that has been running since 1982. Yellow produce tags complete the theme alongside cow-based campaign bits. Available through New Balance next fall.

New Balance has collaborated with Schuh to celebrate their 30th anniversary with a UK-made NB 577. ”With a retro design and premium feel the 577 has been produced in the New Balance Flimby plant in the UK for over 20 years with the reworked exclusives being no exception. Dropping mid November, the New Balance 577 Schuh 30 exclusives will be available online and from Schuh stores.”

New Balance has joined forces with Australian boutique, Highs and Lows to release a New Balance CM577 Day and Night pack to celebrate High and Lows’ 5th anniversary. The Highs and Lows team described this pack as follows:

“We wanted to create a shoe that’d accommodate the beach-side strolls, mid-day cookouts and streetside sundowners that all take place under our city’s blue skies and golden sun. When it came to the Night shoe, we agreed that the uncertainty of the evening called for a more stealthy approach and a little more solidarity in the materials. Therefore, the Night shoe became a black fullgrain leather and raw nubuck assassin with a breathable perforated toebox, 3M highlights and a little speckle thrown on the white sole to acknowledge the moon and stars that watch our every move after dark.”

The 577 Day and Night pack will be available on May 21, 2011 at Blends, CNCPTS, Burn Rubber, Bows and Arrows, Saint Alfred, and Shoe Gallery.

Featured in eggplant or charcoal, the sneaker makes good use of the well-liked suede and mesh combo, setting things off with bright, contrast liners. Sneaker Freaker provides an exclusive look at a new project from Perth, Australia’s Highs & Lows, who have concocted a twin pack of New Balance sneakers dubbed ‘Night & Day’. Here’s what they had to say of their concept:

“We wanted to create a shoe that’d accommodate the beach-side strolls, mid-day cookouts and streetside sundowners that all take place under our city’s blue skies and golden sun. When it came to the NIGHT shoe, we agreed that the uncertainty of the evening called for a more stealthy approach and a little more solidarity in the materials. Therefore, the Night shoe became a black fullgrain leather and raw nubuck assassin with a breathable perforated toebox, 3M highlights and a little speckle thrown on the white sole to acknowledge the moon and stars that watch our every move after dark.”

After a first initial preview, we can give you a more detailed look at the collaboration between UK retailer Size? and New Balance, on the 577 The Estates Pack.

“Taking inspiration from the rise in popularity of traditionally rural fashion into the cities, alongside New Balance’s firm standing as one of the only remaining producers of athletic footwear in England, Size? present The Estates Pack. Utilising a mix of premium materials with some of the richest English heritage to create two shoes that are unmistakably British and can easily be sported with both traditional and modern attire. From waxed cotton to quilted nylon, a touch of felt and a gum sole in understated colourways where the materials do the talking. Drawing upon the tradition of family crests, the tongue tab features the Size? family crest, with Latin numerals signifying the style of New Balance (DLXXVII = 577) along with the phrase ‘Shoes Maketh the Man’.”

The pack will be released at Size? doors on October 2nd.

size? keeps up a fast pace in their 10th anniversary schedule. After already having worked with Nike , Converse, Puma and adidas Originals, they now present The Estates Pack, a double collaboration with Balance on their 577 sneaker. The running shoe comes in two colorways, using a mix of premium materials. Each colorway will be limited to 250 pairs and will release on October 2nd.
