After recently presenting you the MA-1 Jacket inspired New Balance MTG580 Gore-Tex sneaker, we preview today the B-3 Jacket inspired MTG580 Gore-Tex.

“Unlike the MA-1 jacket-inspired joints that are made mostly out of synthetic materials, these feature some sweet looking weathered leather on the uppers. Whilst the MA-1s employ the velcro name patch concept onto the kicks, the design references for these are much more subtle. Apart from the tongue label, the only other detail is a nod to the wool lining found on the jackets, which New Balance have placed underneath the tongue.”

The seaker will be released some time in July 2010.

A really solid new release is coming from New Balance. Once again they have worked on their 580 model and also incorporated Gore-Tex fabrics.

“Here we take a look at the MA-1 flight jacket-inspired MTG580s.

The kicks not only take the classic green and orange colourway of the jacket, but also the Velcro name patch concept. Two sets of ‘N” logos are supplied, but if you like you can just leave them off and the kicks still look great.

Apart from the inner-lining, the whole shoe is crafted from water-repellent Gore-Tex as well as a tough type of nylon fabric, so they’re ready for some hard wearing come rain or shine.”

These sneakers will hit stores July 2010.
