For Fall 2011 New Balance presents the Made in UK M1500 SGB. The classic running shoe comes in a gun metal grey premium leather version with black leather accents and hints of mesh. The limited edition release comes packaged in a numbered wooden box and is now up for pre-order at Hanon.

New Balance and J.Crew continue to collaborate on the 1400 running shoe. For Fall 2011 they have released a new military grey colorway with navy logo. You can purchase the sneaker now here.

For Spring/Summer 2012 New Balance introduces the 581, a sneaker that combines outdoor tech and styling with running DNA. Pulling lines from the 574, the 581 tacks on a more rugged outsole, guarded laces and more. These sneakers will be available in two very trail influenced colors next year.

The rise of performance running footwear in the lifestyle sector is both interesting and exciting, as we finally see people sporting new creations again and not only restyled classics.

Today we present two colorways of the New Balance 1400. The seamless synthetic/mesh upper is complemented with the innovative REVlite midsole, which provides premium responsiveness and durability at a 30% lighter weight than other foams with comparable performance. The weight of the sneaker comes down to only 200 grams.

The New Balance CM1700 returns for Fall 2011 in two great looking colors. While the most popular New Balance styles usually come in some shade of grey, these new apricot and purple versions of the sneaker are perfect for the remaining summer months. They are now available from Invincible.

Over the weekend, New Balance launched their Made in USA collection for Fall 2011 at Unionmade in San Francisco, CA. Featuring the 1300, 998 and 991, the collection is marked by premium materials and handcrafted construction. The first sixty people to purchase shoes from this collection at Unionmade received a custom made wooden box along with a canvas dust bag.

During Bread & Butter we walked through the New Balance booth and got a nice little preview of the more exciting products that the brand will release for Spring 2012. One of the more exciting packs to drop next season, is for sure the ‘Road to London’ theme.

Sticking to its classic looks, New Balance releases another banger for Fall 2011. The M998GB will be released next month, featuring a clean suede and mesh upper, mostly kept in grey tones. Just the right amount of accents are set in navy and red. The limited edition sneaker drops in August 2011 at End and other premium retailers.

The New Balance 574 remains to be our favorite silhouette from the New Balance running program. Today we take a look at the various new colorways that you will see release for Spring/Summer 2012.

New Balance keeps it clean and plays with a nice range of colors and materials next season, including suede, canvas, premium leather and denim. The ‘Tricolor’ pack and the ‘Denim’ pack are certainly among the highlights.

In anticipation of the Olympic Games London 2012, New Balance presents ‘The Road To London’ Pack for Spring 2012. The pack consists of two New Balance 574’s, featuring a mix of materials on the upper, resulting in a clean tonal look, with a gold accent set behind the ‘N’ logo patch on the side-panels. ‘The Road To London’ tag is placed on the tongue and the same logo graphic is also placed on the in-sole.
