Nigo, the head of A Bathing Ape, makes sure to stay busy. Together with his Bape head designer Sk8thing he has worked on a new line entitled Human Made. The collection is now exclusively available at Beams in Japan. The offering includes jackets, pants, shirts, denim, vests, sneakers and more. All pieces have a distinct vintage look and are very different from Bape.

After a quick preview the other day, we can give you a more detailed look at the collaboration between Bape founder Nigo and Japanese eyewear company Effector. Together they worked on two styles, each coming in three colorways and releasing in the next couple of weeks.

Nigo and BAPE present the Winter 2010 edition of their self-styled lookbook series that began this past Autumn. Posing with art and ephemera from his personal collection, Nigo shows off a number of new BAPE styles. The  BAPENATIVE Navajo print receives heavy play, as does good ol’ George Cox.

A Bathing Ape’s general, Nigo, has gotten together with Japanese eyewear brand Effector to produce a couple of frames. Overall they present 3 styles of the collaboration, which will be released in the coming weeks.

A Bathing Ape presents their first online lookbook for the Autumn 2010 season. Modeled entirely by BAPE front man Nigo, the book showcases a number of forthcoming pieces. Select highlights include the LL Bean-inspired LL Solider boot, a couple of George Cox footwear collabs and an interesting new “village” camo pattern (as seen in the background above.)

The latest exhibition to be hosted by Bape is the Bape Archive Exhibition. We reported about the re-release of the Futura collaboration tee for the occasion, as well as the re-issue of a special colorway of the Bape Rizzoli book.

Today we get a closer look at the exhibition set up by Nigo himself. Showcased are special products that have been released by A Bathing Ape over the year.

Nigo announced an upcoming collaboration between himself and Japanese eyewear brand Effector, who we have seen previously work with Neighborhood and other brands. Above you get a first idea of what there is to come. Hopefully we can soon show you more!

Nigo continues with his workshop tour in Japan. The next stop is the Bape Gallery from June 26th to June 27th and he will be printing the Milo Hand Print T-Shirts. There are overall 5 designs that will be printed. If you are in the area, make sure to pass by and let Nigo show you how a high quality screen printed t-shirt is done.

Today the upcoming collaboration between A Bathing Ape and Neighborhood was announced through multiple channels. Nigo got the word out via Twitter, while Shinsuke Takizawa from Neighborhood is blogging about it and even gives us a first product preview. The collection is entitled “NHBA Brother Hood” and we cannot wait to see it. Here we give you a first look at a sneaker from the collection, as well as some more graphics that will be part of it. Definitely exciting news and it will be interesting to see what the result of a collaboration of these two very different brands will look like.
