By now most of you should have heard that Nowhere, the infamous store once founded by Jun Takashi from Undercover and Nigo from Bape, will be setting up a temporary space at Dover Street Market London. For the occasion there will be some special product, which we can show you today. The line-up includes sweaters, hoodies, coach jackets and t-shirts. Let’s see if there is more to come. Once again the honeyee blogs relaunched today and once again they brought some interesting new people on board. Tetsu Nishiyama from WTAPS is back from the dead, Nigo from Bape joined the blogs, as well as Neil Hartman, Terry Hall and others. As usual, definitely worth checking out!

Only a couple of weeks ago we showed you the image above, of a Last Orgy 2 t-shirt, the brand initially created by Nigo and Jun Takashi in the beginning of the 90’s, when they still used to run the NOWHERE store. It was their first project, before starting Bape and Undercover. Both of these brands were started out of NOWHERE. We were guessing that some of the product would be re-released soon. We were not completely wrong, but there is much more to it.

NOWHERE will open again for a limited period of time in the basement of Dover Street Market London from 17th January 2009 selling A Bathing Ape products and exclusive products made by Nigo and Jun together under the NOWHERE name.

We cannot wait to see some of the product. We will keep you posted!

Complex caught up with Nigo for their November 2008 issue and got the Japanese designer to talk about subjects that he had not talked about ever before in interviews. Turns out Nigo has a girlfriend since three years, never reads blogs and thinks that Bape gets knocked-off just as much as people talk about them knocking off Nike.

This coming Saturday, the new Bape Book will be released at Colette, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Japanese brand.

For the occasion NIGO will be at Colette in Paris to sign the book. Aside from several Bape camo versions of the book, there is also a limited Colette edition, coming with the Bape Camo in the Colette blue.

The Think Silly crew has uploaded an interview with A Bathing Ape founder Nigo. They mainly talk about international expansion, as well as taking the Bape events international, after the recent success of the Bape Heads Show in Hong Kong.
Nigo also mentions, that the Busy Workshop in London, will be transforming into a large scale Bape flagship store in the near future. Something to be looking out for!

After his recent appearance in Portfolio Magazine, Nigo now made it onto the cover of GQ Japan’s latest issue together with the boss of the Japanese e-commerce platform Rakuten. 
Should you speak Japanese, this should certainly be an interesting issue to check out!

Google has now officially launched the iGoogle Artist Themes and they got lots of great designers and artists on board for the release. In their first offering you can find themes by Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar De La Renta, Nigo, Jeff Koons, Starck, Tezuka Osamo and many other well respected artists.

The Bape LA store opens this week and last night they celebrated the occasion of the opening. Lots of celebrities showed up, including N.E.R.D., Nigo, Takashi Murakami, Mike Tyson, Dr. Romanelli and many more.

Teriyaki Boyz, the Japanese band by Nigo, has just released their latest video – Zock On! The track features Pharrell and Busta Rhymes and was produced by The Neptunes. Let’s see if this line-up will help them to get some more international recognition. Check out the video here below. Via BBC Blog.
