The Nike 6.0 Rizal Low Premium is a totally new chukka-like design with great tumbled leather and a thick crepe sole. The classic brown gives the Rizal sneaker a lifestyle look that’s much classier than 6.0 usual offerings. Now available at Bodega.

Nike 6.0 worked with four artists Jonathan Gray, Ben Jones, Michael Leon and Brent Rollins, to create a limited edition t-shirt and Braata LR Mid Premium shoe. Each of the t-shirts and shoes incorporate a visual representation the artist’s take on Just Do It. The product will be hitting select Nike retail partners globally this week, to coincide with the launch of Nike’s newest all-action sports Just Do It campaign “The Chosen.”

Over the weekend Nike 6.0 released ‘The Full Story’ video from their ‘The Pool’ event, finally giving a nice round-up of what exactly went down in East London.

“The Pool was more than a BMX comp, it was one of the most extra-ordinary gatherings of the BMX community this century.

From the draining of a soon to be demolished local authority swimming pool in Dagenham, East London, into a world class park in less than two weeks was a feat in itself, but to see the diversity and level or riding on display at the launch event was truly remarkable.

40 international riders with a brand new team format saw non-comp riders, veterans, street destroyers and park animals all throw down into something far better than we could have dreamt of.”

Nike 6.0, the action sports division of the sports giant, has dropped a new series of ads featuring none other than The RZA. In the commercials he remixes for Garrett Reynolds, Ryan Dungey and Kolohe Andino.

We usually don’t touch on Nike 6.0. It works for what it is, but we know most of you guys just aren’t into that. In comes their first mens Dunk style – autoclaved (for that vulc look) sole with a solid canvas upper. These are going to be unavoidable. Can’t stomach the 6? Take a sharpie to the tongue logo and you’re good.

Rad Collector drops news of a Buzz Aldrin endorsed Rocket Hero Mavrk Mid 2 from Nike 6.0. “More than a mouthful, the kick is the first ever astronaut co-created sneaker and features Aldrin’s photography on the toe and upper and his OG moon footprint on the insole. These drop at select 6.0 accounts on January 1.”

Rad Collector has a look at a new Nigel Sylvester BMX sneaker from Nike 6.0. “Dubbed as “Chocolate, but for your feet,” Nigel hooked this kick up from top to bottom with black on black detailing, stingray leather swooshes in alternating gold and black, and an ice gel toe bumper with quilted purple lining, what?! Not bananas enough – the right foot has a toe box sewn in ostrich leather while the left is pure croc.” Drops next Monday.

The much anticipated project by The Selby and Nike 6.0 has come to a conclusion and we can finally have a look at the work. The Selby traveled the world to shoot Nike 6.0 athletes, including Garrett Reynolds, Nigel Sylvester and many more. Check out one of the videos here below.

Nike 6.0 worked with photographer Todd Selby on a Fall/Holiday 2009 campaign. His personal project theselby.com, is simply a collection of “interesting people in their creative spaces.” In this vein, Selby shot Nike 6.0 riders Garret Reynolds, Mason Aguirre, James Stewart, Nigel Sylvester, Michel Bourez, and Ben Horan in their hometowns dipped in fresh 6.0 apparel. The works will appear in Nike 6.0’s print ads as well as on a special mini-site dedicated to the project at nike6.com/clothes. Above is wakeskater Ben Horan, shot at his home in Nahunta, GA.
