Nike drops a solid retro-hybrid boot as part of their latest ACG campaign. The Air Max Chisulo Boot is Frankensteins the Air Trainer 1 upper with an Air Max heel unit and hiking outsole. Grey tonal suede and leather upper with blue and pink accents throughout including an array of triangles across the heel panel for that true throwback flavor. Now available from Finish Line.

Today we can give you a closer look at the Nike ACG Fall 2009 Ashiko Boot. It comes this season in two colorways, both featuring a black base and orange or blue accents. Flywire technology and wire mesh are featured on the upper, making the boot light, yet very robust. Overall certainly an interesting new take of the classic hiking boot.

The new Nike ACG Air Max Abasi has been released. The mid top sneaker/boot, features a visible air unit, a leather/nubuck and ripstop upper, a high traction sole and reflective orange on the sole. If you are in the need of an outdoor boot this season, maybe you should be considering this one. It is now available from Haven.

For those among you that do not mind something a little more attention seeking on the foot, here comes the “Total Orange” Nike ACG Ashiko boot.

“Named after ninja ashiko foot spikes, which are used for climbing and traction although they could probably double as an effective weapon, this hiking boot’s namesake is traction, but the real innovation is in support and weight. Flywire and wire mesh encircle the midfoot and ankle with the strength that is normally achieved with clunkier materials. The translucent upper gives a nice window to the stitching and the footsleeve. Flywire, originally a Nike Basketball feature has since crossed over into running and hiking footwear. The Ashiko is the first ACG boot to utilize the technology.”

Nike ACG has shown off some exciting gear in their revamped division, both in terms of footwear and in terms of apparel. Here we take a look at some interesting upcoming Fall 2009 footwear – the Zoom Morizaba and the Air Salbis.

The Zoom Morizaba features a welded Swoosh, Flywire technology, 3M toes and features waterproof mesh. The Air Salbis  is a 3/4 boot and comes in a great colorway, featuring equally interesting materials on the upper.

Nike ACG is known for their outstanding outdoor gear. For Fall 2009 they have produced a both functional and stylish new bag – the Steel City Backpack. The backpack comes in red/black and in black/orange, features multiple pockets and an inner layer with separate closure, making sure that your belongings stay dry. The Nike ACG Fall 2009 Steel City Backpack comes out in early July.

Nike ACG has released these new neoprene sandals. They come in two colorways and feature two strap closures on the upper. Are they nice? We are not sure you can say that, but they certainly come in handy on the beach or during other sports activities. We like the old-school ACG logo tag on them. They are now available at Flauge.

The Nike ACG collection will see an exciting addition this year with the release of the Nike Air Salbis Mid GTX. The sneaker comes with a no-sew construction and Gore-Tex upper, which together make sure that your feat stay warm and dry. The grid design on the sneaker we have already seen this season on some ACG bags and windrunner jackets. The colorway is also looking really nice. Images via Kidkicks.

2009 will be a big year for ACG, as the core ideas of the line will be injected into many sneakers and accessories of the main line. Here we give you a look at the ACG Spring 2009 bags, which have already arrived at some retailers. They present a messenger bag and a nice technical backpack, all coming with a grid pattern on the upper in a series of both subtle and strong colors.
