Two of Nike SB’s November 2009 drops get an early look here. P-Rod’s third pro model is featured in a two-tone blue nubuck with speckled paneling. The Bruin has been one of our favorite new drops from Nike SB and this red suede makeup is a straight banger. Clean, light and ready for riding. Both are available for pre-order from CCS.

For Holiday 2009 Nike produced two great new color options in their popular SB backpacks. The Eugene is offered in the always pleasant Tiffany Green/Black colorway, while the standard Skate Backpack comes in Grand Purple with Gold interior/accents – a nod to the best team that plays at the Staples Center. Both of these will hit Nike SB retailers for November 2009.

Nike SB worked on an exclusive capsule collection with Brad Staba and Reese Forbes’ brand Skate Mental. Dubbed Nike SM, items include a techno blue backpack, a 3-in-1 60/40 parka, several t-shirts (including “Nike SM” logo tees) and a blood-splattered hockey jersey. Hockey jerseys. That’s what we need more of in streetwear. Seriously. Releases December 2009, and we’re assuming a pair of matching kicks will surface before then. Stay tuned.

The much anticipated Nike SB Pop-Up Store opened yesterday in Berlin on Torstrasse 72. Not only does the store present a strong line-up of the current Nike SB collection, they also exhibit the works of photographer Alex Flach, who traveled with the Nike SB team around the globe and documented it. Stops on the trip included Dubai, Cairo, Capetown and Tokyo. Another highlight in the space is the built in mini rimp indoor. We can only suggest to pass by, either for some new product highlights from Nike SB or for a little skate session. You will not be disappointed.

To accompany the forthcoming Brain Wreck Dunk High Premium, designed by artist Todd Bratrud, Nike SB produced a matching t-shirt and 5-panel cap. The hat comes in black canvas and is embroidered with a small pink Nike SB logo up front and a large BRAIN WRECK across the back. Inside you’ll find a satin lining that corresponds with the brain pattern seen inside the shoe. Releasing Sunday, October 11th at Premier.

The Bruin SB has been warmly welcomed into the Nike SB collection this year, mostly appreciated for its subtle and solid looks. Spring 2010 the sneaker comes back in a obsidian/varsity red colorway. Nothing that will turn heads, but a great everyday sneaker.

We like what Nike has been doing with their SB line lately, and they’ve just dropped another good shoe for October 2009. With a clear Halloween influence, the latest Blazer Premium features a white canvas upper with a prominent red “blood splatter” print. A grey suede Swoosh alongside red and off-white panels complete the palette. Look out for a release at Nike SB retailers later this month.

October 10th will see the opening of the “Alive with Pleasure” exhibition of Berlin based photographer Alex Flach. Besides the exhibition there will be a Nike SB temporary store and an indoor miniramp. The exhibition shows pictures of the German Nike SB Team touring through Tokyo, Dubai, Capetown and Cairo. Accompanying the exhibition there will be a limited and signed book, shirt and poster available at the store. The official launch event takes place next Saturday.

After presenting you the Nike SB October 2009 footwear these past 2 weeks, we take a look at the apparel that is on offer. The drop includes some solid nylon jackets, graphic t-shirts, a 5-panel cap, pocket tee, as well as some socks and flannel shirts. As usual for Nike SB, they keep it mostly simple on the apparel side.
