For Fall 2011, The Nike Sportswear Brasil collection continues to celebrates the country’s passion for the beautiful game. A unique graphic language reworks the canary (or canarinho) of the Brasilian jersey into “a symbol of everything the opposition fear when they face the yellow shirt.” Furthermore, they’ve brought the city of São Paulo’s coat of arms into the formula for a visually striking look.

Garment-wise, the collection includes camouflage versions of the AW77 hoodie and N98 jacket, a series of Canarinho-inspired polos celebrating some of Europe’s legendary football institutions, shield-printed Windrunners, as well as various shirts printed with the Portuguese for “Born to Play.”

For Fall 2011, Nike Sportswear’s NSW Collection, continues to merge athletic tradition and technology with redefined fits, comfort and innovation. This season’s key inspiration comes via American Football during the 1960s, resulting in a collection that encompasses worn-in jerseys, varsity outerwear and more.

As we’ve come to enjoy, the collection is at once creative, easy-to-wear and cutting-edge. Highlights include three-quarter sleeve jerseys, a technical update on the Coaches Jacket, more Loopwheeler pieces, down vests, Firefly jackets, new Destroyers and the Sideline Jacket: a minimal, rugged 3-Layer water repellent cotton twill piece equipped with Storm-FIT technology, an offset zip and leather reinforcements (pictured above left.)

Today we have a look at the new Spring 2011 collection by Marchon Eyewear for Nike Sportwear. “The collection is inspired by 1970’s sports icons – specifically those who led trends in winter terrains and on the auto racing track.” The NK8206 (top) has a vintage aviator look, done in a stainless-steel eyeglass style, while the NK7207 (bottom) is more of a classic acetate frame with rich, layered colors. There are several options in the series, all of which look excellent for your optical needs.

After having previewed the 3L Jacket and the Air Approach Mid boot from the new Nike Sportswear NSW AFE (Athletic Far East) Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, we can show you today the entire apparel offering of the line for the season.

Already now we can tell you, that without a doubt, the AFE range makes up the strongest apparel we have seen from Nike Sportswear so far. From jackets to pants, the details and material choices result in a beautiful line-up of items, that are hardly branded and always keep the functionality in mind. Also the colors are well put together. The tops, aside from the jackets, are very simple and thus maybe the least strong in the collection.

For Spring/Summer 2011, Nike Sportswear takes inspiration from India’s passion for cricket to re-imagine two Nike icons, from footwear the Nike Dunk High and from apparel the Nike Sportswear Tee.

After showcasing the new NSW Waterproof Tote Bag yesterday, we take a look today at another exciting release from the premium Nike Sportswear NSW Spring 2011 Collection. We are still very much impressed by the progress is making on the apparel side of things. The new Selvedge Chino looks great, coming in a dark beige canvas colorweay, featuring selvedge accents on the back pocket, waterproof zippers and only little branding. Concepts (storeguide) already has them in stock.

Nike Sportswear presents from their NSW premium luggage collection the new waterproof tote bag. Next to the backpack and duffle bag, this is the third piece in the collection, also coming in waterproof fabric, featuring waterproof zippers and lots of functional features. Branding is kept to an absolute minimum, making this a great addition to your line-up of bags. St. Alfred (storeguide) already has it in stock.

Liberty of London today announced their upcoming collaboration with Nike Sportswear for Summer 2011. The store and Nike worked on an entire collection of sneakers. Today we can preview one of the Dunk Hi’s from the collaboration. The full line-up of sneakers will be released April 1st. More news should follow soon.

Launched only last season, we take a look at the Spring/Summer 2011 offering of the Nike Sportswear NSW Athletic Far East (AFE) Collection. The apparel looks once again sharp and actually mostly sticks to basics. Nice crewneck sweaters with leather elbow patches are complemented with camouflage hoodies, sweat jackets with leather details and a nice line-up of basic tops. Look out for this collection to arrive in stores in the coming weeks.
