Nike’s Innovation Kitchen has cooked up some of the sports world’s greatest products and technologies. Tales From The Kitchen Episodes 1 and 2 take a fun look inside the stories of the birth of two Nike best ‘recipes’, NIKE FREE and NIKE HYPERFUSE.

New for Summer 2012 is the Nike Tennis Classic AC Canvas Pack. The low top sneaker returns for the new season in several colorways, featuring premium canvas uppers, leather Swoosh and a nice gum detail on the toe box. The sneakers are now in stock at END.

Nike has had a great thing on their hands with the new Roshe Run sneakers. These have been flying off of shelves at retail due to their popularity and it’s easy to see why. These low tech sneakers have been dropping in great colors and here is another great example of that with this ‘Iguana’ version. The drab green color is looking really nice here with the black Swoosh and sail sole combination. These are now available at retailers such as Concepts.

The Nike Cortez sees some of its most vivid iterations to date with this nylon pack for Spring/Summer 2012. The color palette for this new pack consists of a cyber yellow, soar blue, siren red and magenta. Each shoe is comprised of a combination of nylon and suede materials. If you enjoy what you see here, the nylon pack is now up for pre-order at Soleroom.

Nike continues to tweak some of the classics this time around creating a “no-sew” version of the iconic Air Max 95. Although the shoes still do contain some sewn elements, this version of the popular sneakers reduce the sewing by bonding layers via thermo-compression. This are now available for pre-order at atmos.

Today Nike unveiled the new NFL gear having taken over as the official NFL apparel supplier for next season. In terms of uniforms, the Seattle Seahawks receive a completely redesigned uniform, while the rest of the league keeps the same looks, while incorporating Nike tech, such as Flywire, to improve performance. They’re also rolling out a solid range of sideline and practice gear, right down to the feet with an NFL x Nike iD Dunk option, perfect for those who don’t have a need for on-field garm but want to represent their team. Of the photos that came back to us from NYC today, the gloves were a highlight. The gear will hit Nike.com and NFLShop.com on April 15, 2012.

UK retailer size? has had some interesting exclusives these past weeks. We presented the adidas Originals Tobacco and Nike Elite Vintage these last weeks. Here is now the next one – the Nike Blazer Low Vintage Premium. Keeping it premium and classic, the low top sneaker comes in light grey premium tumbled leather with red or black Swoosh and of course with the full vintage treatment. The sail/black colorway releases on April 6, and the sail/red colorway will drop soon as well.

For Summer 2012 Nike will debut three new styles as part of their Free Collection. The Nike Free collection debuts at retail April 5, featuring natural motion design with trans-tarsal cuts in the midsole arch for enhancing foot flexibility and strength. Three styles offer the Nike Free running experience for a variety of levels and preferences:

- Nike Free Run+3: Features the innovative Dynamic Fit construction, wrapping the arch and helping to eliminate the space between the foot and the shoe for a glove-like fit. A seamless upper provides lightweight support and ventilation where needed most.

- Nike Free 4.0: Modified siping helps inch this shoe closer to barefoot. A seamless upper and molded sock liner that follows the curvature of the foot provide a great fit and enhance comfort and support.

- Nike Free 3.0: Additional siping in the arch and a seamless lightweight upper help make this the closest Nike running shoe to barefoot for foot strengthening and flexibility. Pods of solid rubber in high wear areas enhance durability and traction.

Nike continues their quest to push technology and innovation into lifestyle. The trend is of course most prominent and easiest to translate in the running market. Football makes it a little more difficult, which does of course not mean that they do not try. This time the Street Gato shoe is getting the Nike Sportswear treatment – the outcome is the Nike Woven Street Gato.

“The low profile silhouette with a traditional upper, plus its great performance and style attributes make it ripe for a NIKE Sportswear makeover. This Woven Street Gato is given a luxury treatment using high-grade leathers on the original performance tooling. The addition of a basket-style weave on the upper within the large open panel adds to the luxury effect as well as the all-leather interior on the shoe’s lining.”

The sneaker comes in overall three colorways and looks simple, yet very premium. Look out for a release at select stores soon.

After several teasers, we can give you a first detailed look at the new line-up of the Nike Air Woven Euro 2012 Pack. When it launched in 2000 the Air Woven tipped footwear design into the new millennium. Immediately turning heads with its unusual textile pattern and supreme comfort and fit, it might actually be the perfect time to bring it back, as people are finally looking again at innovation in sneaker design.

The shoe’s upper is hand woven using a combination of elastic and polyester webbing to ensure the perfect fit, acting as a second skin on the foot. Air Woven comes to life with various colors incorporated into the hand-woven upper. The shoe’s midsole is molded phylon for added comfortable fit and feel.

Featuring a Nike Air unit in the heel, the new colorways have been created in honor of some of the teams and players who will compete this summer on football’s biggest stage – the UEFA Euro 2012 Cup.
