nonnative continues to impress with their Gore-Tex infused footwear, also for Spring/Summer 2012. We still do not understand why the fabric has not made it more widely into the footwear field – keeping your feet warm and dry just seems to make sense. Most current styles on the market that use Gore-Tex are made for professional sport or just look horrible.

For the new season nonnative presents again their Gore-Tex 2L Dweller Lo Trainer, this time using a Cotton Mini Herringbone fabric by Liberty on the upper, featuring the signature flower designs. The sneaker comes in overall three colorways and will release soon.

Always one of the more impressive Japanese brands, nonnative, reinforces that notion with this great array of footwear for the Spring/Summer 2012 season. Amongst the shoes visible in this preview, you will see a shoe you have probably seen here in the New Balance CM997 “Dune” sneakers, but here is a further look at what they will be releasing in the near future. We see a well rounded lineup from the casual Chuck Taylor-esque sneakers, to the more dressier with some nice brogues and loafers.

For the 10th anniversary of Japanese shoe maker Regal, they have teamed up once again with nonnative on the Gore-Tex Wing Tip Brogue. For the first time they present the shoe with a suede upper. It comes in beige and brown with a leather mid-sole and Crepe outer sole. Classic looks, infused with the latest technology – we love it. (Via Cool-Trans)

The collaboration between Japanese brand nonnative and New Balance continues. For early January 2012 they announce the release of the collaborative CM997 sneaker. A silhouette that one does not come across too often, it still remains to be one of our favorite. We really have to hand it to nonnative on these – the choice of color and materials is incredible. Unique, premium, unseen before, yet a perfect balance. The outcome is an elegant running shoe, featuring mesh, leather and suede on the upper. Only that hit of royal blue on the outer sole, distracts from the otherwise so clean sneaker.

The nonnative x New Balance CM997 releases on January 7th, 2012.

For the second time nonnative has teamed up with Canadian brand Reigning Champ. Using the innovative Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, the two produced the Agent Cardigan in a grey colorway and the Student Pant in black for Holiday 2011. A release is scheduled for November 5th, 2011, at Japanese retailers.

We get a first look at the upcoming nonnative Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. The Japanese brand continues to develop really nice and presents a casual layered look in the coming season, featuring interesting colors and looks in the collection. The light weight jackets, thin knitwear pieces and short pants all come together very well in an easy to wear look.

Japanese brand nonnative collaborate with shoemaker Regal on set of military inspired officer shoes. The shoes’ uppers are made from cow leather, whilst adopting Gore-tex for the lining. These are a rather tough, but smart shoe with a slightly rounded toe. They’re currently available from Vendor.

As part of the SOPHNET and nonnative SOPH.NATIVE collection, the two prominent Japanese labels enlisted American hat manufacturer Ebbets Field Flannels for a series of ball caps. Featuring cotton twill and cotton duck uppers in an assortment of colorways, the hats will be available September 17, 2011, exclusively though Vendor Nagoya and SOPH Tokyo.

Another nice collaboration coming from the Black Market initiative by Sense Magazine, are the above high rise boots by Japanese brand nonnative. The boots of course come in black and feature a mixed premium leather and nylon upper, as well as a Vibram outer sole. The Made in Italy boots are now available through Black Sense Market.

A beautiful backpack is coming from the nonnative Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The Dweller Daypack comes with cotton oxford uppers and vegetable tanned premium leather accents and bottoms. Three colors of the Made in Japan backpack are releasing late August 2011.
