Watch brand Nooka is releasing the second series of their Mini NookaNooka art toy. This time they worked with artists and toy designers Matthew Waldman of Nooka, Mad Barbarian, Veggie Something, and Canadian retail boutique Room 322. The NookaNooka is an urban vinyl collector’s toy, but more importantly acts as a representative for the Nooka brand. Look out for a release of the toys in the coming weeks.

Nooka is the official sponsor for the 2010 VANS WARPED TOUR. For the 16th annual tour, Nooka has designed a limited edition piece for 100 of the VIPs. The watch features a purple ZenV face with a matching purple print on a green band. To check out the dates of the tour, go here.

Nooka has come together with luxury jewelry designer, Deviant Design Group (DDG), to create custom iced out Nooka watches. “Customization options will range from the addition of precious stones and diamonds, gold plating, inscription, unique strap materials, as well as special requests for any additional personal touches. Together, the two design studios will be combining their collective views of unconventional design in order to bring exceptional, personal works to the Nooka and DDG customer.”

Nooka has come together with Mad Toy Inc. to create a custom piece inspired by Mad Toy’s SLIMEBALL Sqwert character. Initially incorporated into the exclusive run of mini NookaNooka toys, the SLIMEBALL color and graphics are now being launched as a limited edition zub zot 38 timepiece. Only 500 will be produced and will be available in April worldwide.

For Spring/Summer 2010, Nooka is expanding their colorways on the Nooka Zub, AO, and Strip collections. For the first time ever, the Zub model will feature bright, two-toned colors as well as 9 new colors for both the AO and Strip line.

Nooka has come together with New York based Japanese anime-inspired lifestyle brand, GOMMI ARCADE, to create the limited edition ‘Future-Shock’ zub timepiece. The limited edition piece is a twist on the time manipulation device worn by Gommi in the ‘Future-Shock’ comic/manga, written by Zak Hok. It features the popular Nooka zub zot face in blue, with the original ‘Gommi Marvel’ iconic artwork printed on a white polyurethane band. The watch is schedule to be released in March and is limited to 800 pieces.
