New Balance x Norse Projects M670 NTU Preview

We get a first look at the upcoming collaboration between New Balance and Copenhagen’s store/brand Norse Projects. Norse Projects has released a full apparel collection for the first time for Fall/Winter 2009 and just like with their clothing, they also present a subtle, vintage inspired sneaker in collaboration with New Balance. They worked on the M670 and gave it a navy mesh/suede upper and added some light grey and light blue accents to it. Look out for a release in October 2009 at Hanon and other select boutiques.

Norse Projects x Elka Rainwear Collection
Denmark’s Norse Projects worked with four-decade old rainwear label Elka on a series of garments designed for “protection against bad weather.” Overall, the collection consists of a short rain jacket, a trench coast, and a rain hat, each of which comes in two different colorways. Created to improve life, good for all seasons (in Denmark anyways.)

New York based artist Todd “REAS” James has designed a series of t-shirts for Copenhagen retailer Norse Projects. With titles such as TJ 2+2 always=4, TJ reading with cats, and Never trust a hippie, the imagery on these shirts exhibits much of Todd James’ well known sexually-charged cartoon work. Each shirt features a woven Norse Projects logo tag on front of the shirt and comes in several colors. Available now at colette.

norse projects fw09 collection front Norse Projects Fall/Winter 2009 Collection

Norse as a store has been bringing the hottest brands to North Europe for a couple of years already. Now we see them moving in the similar direction such as stores like Goods and Huf in the US – from creating an occasional t-shirt, cap or collaboration, to creating a full clothing line. For Fall/Winter 2009 Norse Projects presents their first full collection and you will not be disappointed.

The collection sports everything from chinos, knitwear, shirts, t-shirts, fleece to caps and scarfs. The nordic look is definitely present in the line and we like that a lot. All pieces come in a variety of colors and styles. They also worked on some collaborative t-shirts with Alex Cassoni, Husk Mit Navn, Definingform and the highlight is probably the work with Peter Beste.

A detailed preview of the Norse Projects Fall/Winter 2009 Collection follows after the jump.

Norse Projects Holiday 07 Collection
In Europe there are only a handful of outstanding store to carry the best selection in our market. Norse is one of them, situated in Copenhagen. With their in-house label Norse Projects, they present since a few seasons strong basics. For this Holiday season they concentrated even more on quality and details, and left out the graphics entirely. The line consists of crewneck sweaters, hoodies, pocket t-shirts, beanies and 5-panel caps, all only carrying the Norse Projects tag and nothing more.
The collection is now available online and in store. Check it out after the jump.
