To celebrate La MJC’s 10th birthday, the Parisian collective joined forces with their Danish friends at Norse Projects create a special version of the infamous Elka raincoat. Totally waterproof and breathable, the jacket pays homage to the blue, red and white colors of the French flag and features four front pockets, a drawcord hood, breathable lining and adjustable cuffs. The jacket is a limited edition of 50 pieces, exclusive to Cool Cats, Norse Projects and colette.

Norse Projects has released their latest range of 5 panel caps for Spring 2012. The Saxpop Solid range includes 4 colorways, all Made in USA. The navy and especially washed yellow are our favorite of the line-up. You can purchase the caps now from Norse online.

Danish brand Norse Projects teamed up with Pro-Keds on a pack of three colors of the Royal Master Lo sneaker.  Featuring premium suede on the upper, the contrasting brown leather tab makes for a nice accent on the heel. The in-sole is made of cork and further collaborative branding has been placed on the tongue. The Good Will Out in Cologne will host the German launch of the sneaker on February 24th, 2012, while the Norse Projects store in Copenhagen will be hosting the global launch a little earlier during Copenhagen Fashion Week, early February.

Norse Projects continues to present great exclusive versions of its 5-panel Hektor cap for Holiday 2011. After the Fake Suede, Two-Tone Wool and Floral Hawaiian caps, they now present the Hektor Rug Caps.

Made from old Japanese rug fabric swatches, these 5 panel caps come with a cotton outer mixed with a fake suede brim and black inner. Overall there are 5 different styles available now from Norse Projects.

Norse Projects has created two Norse Store exclusive takes on their popular 5-panel cap. Offered in Hawaiian and floral prints the caps bring about a touch of summery color in the colder months of the year, or “perfect camouflage for a walk in the botanical gardens.” Now available through Norse Projects.

Norse Projects has released a new series of their Hektor 5-panel cap for Holiday 2011. This time they offer the popular silhouette in fake suede and in a 100% wool make-up with a two-tone design. As usual the caps carry the classic Norse Projects tag on the front and otherwise remain very clean. Both styles come in a series of colors and are now in stock in the Norse online store.

We have a hard time deciding which ones we like best – they all look good!

For those looking to step up their footwear game, allow us to make a suggestion: Tricker’s for Norse Projects. Danish brand Norse Projects presents a new lookbook for Fall/Winter 2011. This time they highlight the latest pieces to be released from the current collection, including nice knitwear, outerwear and of course also a solid offering of accessories. The Nordic style has made a strong push in recent years and there is hardly any brand out there that shows that better than Norse.

Norse Projects has been very successful with their cap program in recent years and continues to offer appealing versions of the iconic 5 panel for Fall/Winter 2011, next to some new styles as well.

The 5 panel comes in heavy Moleskine fabric and wool versions this season. Furthermore they present the hunter cap in wool and wool checker fabrics and the Wool Flat Cap in several colors as well.

Today we take an early look at Norse Projects’ latest collaboration with Swedish glovemaker Hestra. Together they produced six different deerskin glove styles, each mixing Canadian deerskin with knit portions. Check for these at Norse retailers shortly.
