The Peanuts 60th Anniversary celebration continues with a handsome set of Moleskine notebooks.

Strictly black and white, the Peanuts limited edition series will come in two sizes, both plain and ruled page layout. Charlie Brown and Snoopy are given top billing on the silkscreen printed covers, whilst the anniversary logo is debossed on every notebook. The interior features illustrations of the characters with inspiring quotes, a set of stickers, and a family tree tracking all possible connections among the whole Peanuts gang, their love crushes, their likes and dislikes.

Currently these have only shown up at Japanese spots, but keep an eye out at your local Moleskine accounts.

This past November, The MoMA opened a retrospective honoring the art of acclaimed director Tim Burton. As a further tribute to the director, a custom 2010 weekly planner was published by Moleskine. The books feature Tim Burton’s signature and the MoMA logo embossed on the cover along with a unique paperband featuring the names of several of Burton’s films. These titles are set atop images of one of Burton’s earliest characters, Vincent, the star of a 1982 short film created in collaboration with Rick Heinrichs. The exhibition runs through April 26, 2010 at The MoMA.

(capsule) trade show has teamed up with Moleskine, purveyor of quality notebooks, to create a limited edition book for (capsule) exhibitors and members of the show’s Advisory Board. Showcasing one-hundred and thirty of the world’s most sought after designers, (capsule) New York takes place this Monday and Tuesday the 18th and 19th. For those in town, there’s also something called the Neighborhood Network going on with Superfuture – two days of sales and in-store events with everyone from Rogan to Opening Ceremony. Rhodia is celebrating their 75th anniversary and for the occasion they worked with Paul Smith to give their infamous notebooks a new look. The outcome are two sets of notebooks, each featuring 4 graphics by the British designer, as well as his signature pattern at the bottom. Look out for these to release soon. Via Selectism.

Japanese brand Mastermind Japan has released a set of notebooks. As usual they keep it simpe – all black just with their logo. Considering the usual elevated prices of the brand, the notebooks are with 25-35 USD priced quite moderately. They are now available in the Colette online store.

Sophnet made some notebooks with one of Londons premier stores, Liberty. The line-up consists of 4 notebooks with an embossed Sophnet logo. These are not for sale, only for promotion. Via Jeff Staple.
