Takahiro Miyashita of Number (N)ine worked with photographer Charles Peterson on a collection of garments bearing images from the early days of grunge. Drawing from Peterson’s book Touch Me I’m Sick, Miyashita printed fabric with photos of mosh pits and crowd-surfing, creating a camo-like collage pattern that adorns T-shirts, denim, and punk formalwear by way of a tuxedo and satin jazz shoes. We’ll be sad to see this label go – though word on the street is Miyashita will continue working with Peterson post Number (N)ine. Now available at Number (N)ine.

Number (N)ine has released a series of ice cream inspired t-shirts in their Fall/Winter 2009 “A Closed Feeling” collection. T-shirts feature ice cream cones and cups, milkshakes and other fun graphics. This is the last Number (N)ine collection, so if you want a piece of the brand, it’s now or never. Number (N)ine is soon closing down, but for now they are still busy releasing some great product. As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, the brand just released some new high top sneakers. Inspired by the Sk8 Hi, the sneaker features a nice zipper detail on top of the lacing. The upper comes in premium suede and the sneaker is available in light beige and in white at Cliff Edge.

Earlier this year news spread fast about the closing of Japanese brand Number (N)ine. Eyescream magazine has dedicated their entire new issue to the brand and for the occasion they have also released a collaborative t-shirt, featuring icecream on the front and back, as well as the slogan “Last Say Good Bye”. The t-shirt is now available at Zozomesse.

As most of you know by know, Number (N)ine will soon be closing its doors. If there is something that we always loves about the brand is their work with no boundaries. The brand was at home on the runways just as much as on the streets. For Spring/Summer 2009 they present their first New Era caps. The pack consists of three caps, each coming with a checker upper, as well as large wing embroideries. The Number (N)ine logo appears on the back.

Number (N)ine got together with Beck to collaborate on a t-shirt. The t-shirt is now available, exclusively at the Number (N)ine flagship stores in Tokyo and New York.

After previewing the collaboration project last week, we can show you some nicer images of the three sneakers that Converse created in collaboration with Number (N)ine, Mastermind Japan and with Libertine. Dover Street Market just announced that they would be available in store as of mid December.

Finally we gave give you a slightly better look at the soon to be released Converse 100th Anniversary collection collaborations with Number (N)ine, Libertines and Mastermind Japan. Silhouettes include the Allstar High, Jack Purcell and the Skidgrip. Each shoe also comes in a decorative clear acrylic box. The collaborations will only be released at Isetan Department stores. Number (N)ine recently got together with Nepenthes, a Japanese company, which is behind brands such as Engineered Garments and Needles. Takahiro Miyashita, the designer of Number (N)ine, used to be part of the Nepenthes team, thus a collaborative project was only natural.

The Number (N)ine For Nepenthes collection has a strong purple theme and consists of hiking boots, knitwear, jackets, as well as some pants. Via Hypebeast/Footurama.

Previewed by us a couple of months ago, the Number (N)ine x Converse Jack Purcell will be released soon. Here we can show you now some better images of the shoe, which comes featuring an all-over print on the upper and is otherwise kept classic with white toe cap and sole. Via Honeyee.
