New brand Detergent comes out of NYC with a nod to London. References to British things (like sausages and the monarchy) find a place against tees with clear pop art appeal. The graphics are sharp, and have the requisite wit.

During fashion week, Y-3 hosted a party in their New York flagship store. For the occasion these new Sigg aluminum bottles were given out, featuring comic interpretations of designer Yohji Yamamoto.Guest who attended the event, got one forfree, otherwise you can also purchase themfor 90 USD at the store now. We have seen Alife NYC skate decks before, but this time they worked with Girl Skateboards on a deck. They worked with a lot of their signature graphics, including the eyes and the repetitive Alife logo.

The deck is now available at Standard and go for a reasonable 65 USD.

Announced a couple of months ago, the new A.R.C. x Penfield Wind Breakers are now available at Alife stores around the globe as well as A.R.C. NYC. Here we give you a first look.
The wind breakers will be coming in overall three colorways – red, black and purple. The lining comes on all three jackets in red, which makes for a nice contrast. Also the jackets feature a large size tonal A.R.C. logo print on the front, which looks great. Also you find the A.R.C. logo on the zipper and on the inside tag. The Penfield logo appears just like on all their pieces on the chest.
The A.R.C. x Penfield Wind Breakers turned out really nice and will be a perfect companion in the rainy Fall days. The jacket is available at Alife stores as well as on Rivingtonclub.com and go for 110 USD.

Mishka got together with Actual Pain to produce a New Era cap. Done in mostly tonal black embroidery on black wool, the cap features an over-sized and gloriously macabre Actual Pain logo across the front. A Cyco Simon skull on it’s left side and an Actual Pain grinning death mask decorates it’s back. The cap also features a blood red sandwich brim and New Era logo for some color along with an over-sized Cyco Simon underbrim embroidery.
The cap is limited to 144 pieces, with 100 caps going to Actual Pain. The Mishka x Actual Pain New Era cap is now also available in the Mishka online store.

An era has come to an end. The Stussy NYC Chapter Store on Wooster Street is now closed. After 10 years at this location, the lease is up and they will not be re-opening this store. 10 Years ago, Stussy made a bold move coming to New York and they succeeded. The store remained since then on our list of shops to visit on every NYC trip. 
For now you can purchase Stussy, as well as Porter, at Union on Spring Street. Also the good news are, that there will be a new Stussy Chapter Store in the area, just not at the same location. We’ll keep you posted!

Mishka once again presents a new line-up of t-shirts of their sub-line, Amulet Of The Bloody Goblin.
Inspired by decades of sinister ghouls and the grotesquely powerful art of 80s skate culture, Goblin revives the lost art of monsters and the macabre. Staying true to tradition, Goblin is hand drawn – the final illustrations retaining the same un-polished aesthetic found in decades of horror art.

On August 22nd Nike will be opening a Sportswear flagship store at 21 Mercer Street in New York City. We have seen a lot of pop-up store openings, but this marks the first permanent store opening for the new Nike Sportswear collection, with hopefully more to follow.
Following the design direction that we have seen in other pop-up stores and events around the globe the new 21 Mercer store feature a lot of custom wood paneling and of course a fair share of product exclusives.

Mishka created a Comic-Con exclusive t-shirt in collaboration with Toy Tokyo. In case you did not make it over to Comic Con you can now purchase the t-shirts in the online exclusive section of their website.

ALIFE collaborated with Italian sunglass manufacturer RETROSUPERFUTURE to create a custom frame with matching custom lenses.

Every pair of SUPER sunglasses is hand-made in Italy and features Carl Zeiss lenses.

A total of 480 pairs of ALIFE SUPER sunglasses were produced in four colors. Red, Blue, and Purple are limited to 80 pairs per color.

Available on Saturday, August 23rd at ALIFE LA, ALIFE NYC, ALIFE Tokyo, ALIFE Vancouver, ALIFE at Colette and some more premium accounts around the globe.
