Obey has hooked up with artist Curtis Kulig aka Love Me on this capsule collection for the brand’s Spring Artist Series. Love Me’s tags have become highly visible in recent times be it out on the streets or as part of special projects for Nike Sportswear, the Standard LA, Lovecat and others. This collection is a well rounded one, and it is comprised jeans, tees, a beanie, an oxford and tote bag.

Obey presents a remix of its iconic Obey Giant graphic for the Holiday season – the Santa Paste Holiday tee. Santa is pasting the Obey Giant mural himself this season. The t-shirt comes in a series of colorways and is now available from retailers.

The OBEY Holiday 2011 Lookbook features a portion of their vast line, showcasing a small representation of each category they offer. This season you’ll see a focus on heavier outerwear such as insulated jackets, quilted jackets, and lots of wool and nylon. Have a look.

Obey Clothing has released ‘The Rise’ short film, featuring an interview with founder, artist Shepard Fairey. Shepard talks about the influence graffiti, skateboarding and punk rock had on his life and the ways it shaped his art career. Key moments such as a school trip to NY and the melding of styles by brands such as Shut Skateboards allowed him to develop his techniques. Look out for some classic 90’s skate footage as well.

Obey presents a multi-fabric patchwork Mexican-blanket inspired ‘Gaucho’ 5 Panel cap with a leather rear adjuster and a leather Obey wolf logo patch on the front. A great way to add color to a simple outfit. This fun summer hat is now available through Flatspot.

The good people at OBEY sent over some looks from their Summer 11 book. Here’s what they had to say about the collection.

“Summer we usually try get a little weird with color. You’ll see some muted blues, coral, raffia, and more in alot in our T’s. The styling is fairly basic this round including some classic mid 90’s styles, surf character throwbacks, washed denim, etc. Pretty lighthearted collection for summer. As usual we try offer a little something for everyone.”

To some it may be a little boring or simply not high-end enough, but for those kids who are out there looking for good-quality basics at a decent price, OBEY does it proper.

Capturing the spirit of L.A. summertime, Generic Surplus and OBEY present “Summer at El Matador” to announce their upcoming footwear collaboration. Check out the collaborative sneakers in detail here.

For Spring 2011 Generic Surplus has not only teamed up with Wood Wood and Comme des Garcons SHIRT, but also with Obey on a pair of sneakers. The two brands decided to mesh up two styles from the Generic Surplus collection, creating a mix of a boat shoe and a dock shoe, featuring metal eyelets and work-wear laces. The plimsol sneaker features minimal branding on the tongue and the footbed, resulting in an overall very clean looking sneaker. The Mesh Borstal sneaker comes in three colorways, priced at 65 USD and will release Summer 2011.

The launch of the sneaker will be celebrated with an event on March 25th, at Space 15 Twenty in LA.

American label OBEY presents their new Spring 2011 collection. The brand continues to push the slimmed down, basic look they’ve established over the past several seasons, with styles that will work for many. Navajo and nautical influences are seen, as are the collaborative sneakers with Generic Surplus. And of course, the Shepard Fairey imagery makes appearances throughout. Check your local doors.

Continuing with the Agenda finds, OBEY lined up with Generic Surplus on a trio of simple mesh sneakers. Though designed with summer in mind, the shoes sport construction-boot style laces, which really adds a unique look to the low cut sneaker. Look out for a release late-Summer 2011.
