Official Crown of Laurel have released three new styles of premium headwear for Spring/Summer 2009. Included in the drop are two fitteds by way of the running classic Houndstooth Wars in a flipped colorway, and the vibrant, over-the-top 8 Bit Chezk style. The release is rounded out by the return of the Neu Mesh snap back cap, this time in a red/black gingham pattern with red snap back. Overall, a nice selection of summer colors and patterns are featured on the caps. Available now at the Official Online Store.

Here we give you a preview of the upcoming 5-panel caps by Official. The Official Neu Camper silhouette, has a slightly deeper fit than the regular camp cap. Nice summer colors are featured on the caps and the chain gang design also returns.

Official Crown of Laurel and the San Francisco concept boutique Invisible Stripes have teamed up to release a limited run wool snap back hat and matching cut & sew button up. The collection subversively comments on issues in society that we face to the billionth degree, whether it¹s the over 100 billion hamburgers McDonald¹s has served up or $9 billion dollars which has been spent on Iraqi reconstruction and now cannot be accounted
for.

The cut & sew button up is limited to 50 pieces total and the snap back hat is limited to 100 pieces. The co:lab will be available this Saturday December 13th at both the Official Online Store and Invisible Stripes.

Official drops its holiday/winter line on November 8. Snap back caps live along size five panels and fitteds. There are beanies as well, made of heavy knit jacquard. For the rest of body, Official is also releasing a series of cut and sew t-shirts. Look for the collection at your nearest Official dealer, or go direct to their site.

Official will be releasing a limited production run of their footie scarves at the Official Online Store on Wednesday, October 29th. Limited to only 24 pieces each, the double knit jacquard scarves come in two colorways, an off yellow and black, and a vibrant orange, yellow, and blue.

Official continues to introduce new silhouettes that capture and progress the contemporary fit of headwear. In this case they’ve taken the common “trucker” style and “refixed” it using premium materials, construction and
detailing. The hat keeps it’s trucker roots but noticeably ups the game with features such as a perfectly rounded crown, 8 rows of stitching on the visor, contrast Official tape and their new laser cut Official “POP” label.

This limited drop of Official Neu Mesh will be in finer boutiques worldwide in early November.

This season Official goes beyond the classic fitted cap and introduces for the first time a new style into their collection – the 5-panel cap. They are introducing the new style in an array of designs and colorways perfect for the Fall season that lies ahead of us.

Official gives a sneak peak at their "PurpsPack" Gunsmoke Grey Denim fitted and Baby Blue Hex Rip-Stop nylon 5 panel camper (Official Neu Camp shape) adjustable. These two hats drop simotaneously as we all wrap summer up and start piecing together our early fall kits.

The Gunsmoke Grey denim hat features the debut of the Official "Scripto" 3 panel 3D embroidery. This script also appears in their seasonal line. Undervisor is inside-out grey denim and contrast stitching throughout the hat is purple.

The 5 panel rip-stop camper is the debut of Official’s long-awaited custom 5 panel shape. This 5 panel features a deeper fit and flat visor. The print on the baby blue ripstop is Official’s "Houndstooth Disruptive Pattern." The 5 panel also features a woven safety patch on the side panel and Official PVC label on the bottom right of the front panel.

These two pieces are limited to a production of 300 pieces and will be available at finer boutiques and shops worldwide on August 25th, 2008.
