Oi Polloi was bestowed with a wonderful opportunity to work with Clarks on these Wallabees. The UK-based retailer thought long and hard about how to rework such a classic shoe and their solution was to use “Unicorn Leather.” By the name “Unicorn Leather”, they mean this:

the name given to elk hides by the specialist tannery tasked with producing the raw materials.

The end result of the utilization of this leather is 2 superb Wallabees in Dijon and Wasabi colors. Both colors are fantastic for Spring/Summer and look to be a must buy. If you feel the same way, head over to Oi Polloi’s web store to pick these up.

French footwear label Veja produced two exclusive styles for UK retailer Oi Polloi. The Veja Indígenos in Clay suede and the Veja Tauá in Moonrock leather are limited to 12 pairs per style, and are in store now at Oi Polloi. Clean looks for the transition through seasons.

Selectism takes note of a magnificent varsity from Heritage Research and Oi Polloi. “Stripped to base essentials – wool body, leather sleeves and leather trimmed slash pockets – the snap button jacket ticks the key stylistic boxes. Two versions have been prepared, one with gray body and cream leather complete with gold quilted liner. The other is a full navy jacket. Made in the US of A. Exclusive to Oi Polloi.”

Menswear retailer Oi Polloi has worked with Gloverall on a small collaborative project. Gloverall manufactured some of their classic duffels and pea-coats, in England, exclusively for Oi Polloi. The Monty, a classic duffle coat, comes in a solid navy/red colorway and the Reefer Jacket comes in two colorways and is fully lined. Rather than changing the outside appearance, Oi Polloi concentrated on adding some nice details on the inside.

For many, this shoe needs no introduction or discussion. Combining heritage and simplicity, the Clarks Weaver is a classic model that hasn’t been seen in years. Lucky for us, Clarks has decided to reproduce a run of this low-profile, crepe-soled cousin of the ubiquitous Wallabee and Desert Boot. Coming in chestnut brown and sand suede, the Clarks Weavers are available now at Oi Polloi.

Manchester’s Oi Polloi, working with Etnies Plus, has devised four styles of footwear hedged on subtle details. All feature the Oi Polloi Magpie motif. As with each Etnies Plus release each pair is individually numbered. 
Some more words on the collaboration:
"The shoes maketh the man is what we were told when we were growing up, which must have had some kind of impact, as we’ve been left mentally scarred with what can only be described as a slightly fanatical obsession with shoes," said Steve Sanderson, Co-founder of Oi Polloi.  "One day we were talking to the nice chaps at etnies about the merits of geography teacher shoes, and how we were keen to make some shoes of our own. Not long after, the wheels were in motion, and as if by magic, the etnies Plus Oi Polloi Collaboration was created!"
