Japanese online magazine Openers joined forces with Japanese charity organization more trees to create a new 400% wooden Bearbrick – the Eco Value Wood Bearbrick. It is made out of recycled woodsand proceeds from the sale will go in part to the more trees organization.

Openers has conducted a series of Interviews as part of the Cartier "Love" campaign. Each person interviewed was asked how far they would go for love. The latest person interviewed in the series is Bape’s Nigo. Check it out here.

Luxury Japanese department store Isetan is celebrating its 150th anniversary. For the occasion they have the Isetan UK Weeks, offering special product from the UK in their store. Dover Street Market, the Comme des Garcons concept store in London, was invited to offer a selection of products at Isetan, and as part of that selection also a new Comme des Garcons x Visvim collaboration will be offered.
Just before we showed you some FBT’s produced by Visvim, here now the opposite happened, Comme des Garcons Shirt produced for Visvim. They made a longsleeve shirt and a hooded shirt. The longsleeve shirt plays with the panels and used lots of different classic patterns. The hooded shirt is really interesting and is essentially a classic longsleeve shirt with a zipper instead of buttons and a hood.
The Dover Street Market Isetan products will be offered until March 31rst. Via Openers.

Openers is one of the latest Japanese web magazines that we came across and it is published by some very interesting people, from Japanese fashion brands, design agencies and also the head of Medicom Toy Group.
Taking a bit of a different approach than Honeyee, maybe concentrating overall more on high end fashion, Openers recently also featured pictures and a summery of the Medicom Exhibition. They have some nice images up, previewing what new action figures and also Fabrick collections they will be releasing later this year. Both the magazine and the feature, definitely worth checking out!
