Keds for Opening Ceremony Animal Print Collection Preview

Opening Ceremony x Keds

Following first their Americana inspired collection for Opening Ceremony, Keds has revealed the second portion of the project with these two animal inspired styles. And although the first territorial reference point that comes to mind is Africa, these are in fact a riff on 70s British Punk. Featured here in Cheetah and Zebra-print ponyhair, these kicks are certainly easier to wear than OC’s recent costume-like Where The Wild Things Are merch. Scheduled to drop in December at $125 USD a pair. (style.com)

Opening Ceremony x Timberland Collection | A Closer Look
Previewed this morning, we now have a detailed look into Opening Ceremony’s exclusive Timberland collection. Two different Timberland styles were customized. The first is the Convenience Boot; a spin on Timberland’s familiar 6-Inch Boot featuring an elastic lacing. The second style is the moccasin 7-eye ankle boot in custom burnished leather (pictured in wheat). Each pair is available in two different colorways and comes with two sets of interchangeable laces. A custom leather OC x Timberland hang tag was also produced.

Opening Ceremony is now offering a two day pre-sale on these boots. All pre-orders must be placed by Thursday, October 15th. The collection will be in stores Monday, October 19th. For more info visit openingceremony.us.

Opening Ceremony x Master-Piece Bag Collection

Opening Ceremony as usual stays busy. Just before we gave you a look at the Timberland collaboration, here now some images of their new bag collection in collaboration with premium Japanese brand Master-Piece. They worked on two backpacks and two small messenger bags.

“Our collaboration with the Osaka-based brand stays true to their ultra specific quality-based productivity, and adds in Opening Ceremony signatures like the supple suede tonal colorblocked fabric. It’s the details that keep in mind everything you need and nothing you don’t that make this bag an instant classic.”

A complete look at the Opening Ceremony x Master-Piece Bag Collection follows after the jump.
