colette worked with urban car brand Smart on a small collection of goods. colette chose a series of brands from current and new smart markets from around the globe. Participating brands include Opening Ceremony, Wood Wood, Andrea Crews, Lala Berlin and Melissa. With each  brand they worked on an exclusive product. The line-up includes t-shirts, shoes, jewelry, scarfs and tote bags and they are all available now at colette.

One of our favorite pieces in the new Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2009 Footwear Collection is the M18 Sneaker Boot. Mixing the boat shoe with a high top sneaker, the canvas boot features nice details and an overall casual look, while being easily matchable with multiple styles. They are now available here.

A couple of days ago we presented to you the Pegleg NYC For Opening Ceremony Spring 2009 t-shirts. Here we give you a look at the shorts, that are also part of the collaboration. The shorts come in two colorways and feature a large rose print on them. Look out for these to release soon. Via Men.Style.

An interesting new collaboration is coming out of New York. Pegleg created some t-shirts exclusively for Opening Ceremy. They made overall four t-shirts in vibrant summer colorways. The t-shirts all feature a collaborative logo tag and are now available at Opening Ceremony.

The much anticipated Opening Ceremony for Uniqlo collection has been released. As part of the Uniqlo Designer Invitation Project, Opening Ceremony has designed a small mens capsule collection for the textile giant from Japan.

The collection consists of jackets, shirts, knitwear, blazers and pants. Our favorite pieces are the shirts, which come with smart details and interesting patterns. The prizes are also very reasonable. This is probably as cheap at Opening Ceremony can get for you. Via Selectism.

For the second time Chloe Sevigny and Opening Ceremony teamed up and this time she designed a menswear collection, that also comes scaled down to fit girls.

“The low-key mish-mash of moleskin pants, wool bombers (with matching backpacks), Fair Isles, long johns, oversize leopard and tiger knits, and other retooled Brit street-tribe and American classics were being worn by a group of friends and street-cast locals who mooched around at the Double Club in London.” Via Style.

This is good news for everybody not living in NYC or Los Angeles. Opening Ceremony has not only released a new website, but they also finally have an online store, offering both their in-house collection and many other exciting brands that they carry in store.

Opening Ceremony produces in our mind some of the smartest casual footwear out there. Classics silhouettes get revived with bold colors and we especially like the thin leather sole, that most of their footwear features. For Spring/Summer 2009 they bring back some of their most popular models, such as the Saddle Shoes and the Leather Desert Boot. They also introduce some new styles, the Leather Trim Sneaker and a nice Leather Slip-On. The line looks very solid this season offers something for everybody.
